Claims (1)
- 車体に搭載されるエンジンに連なる上流側排気
管を、車体に支持される消音器の排気流入口に接
続し、該消音器の排気流出口に、大気に開口され
る下流側排気管を接続してなる、車両におけるエ
ンジンの消音装置において、前記消音器は、前記
車体の後部一側に偏らせ、かつその縦軸線が車体
の幅方向に沿うように配置され、該消音器の、車
体中央寄りの一端面に、前記上流および下流側排
気管の接続される排気流入口および排気流出口を
共に設け、前記下流側排気管を車体の幅方向に長
く延長させたことを特徴とする車両におけるエン
ジンの消音装置。
