In addition, if the arrow goes out when a vehicle enters an intersection, the driver facing it may be too fast to stop at the stop line, and it is often dangerous to continue through the intersection.

Furthermore, when we look at violations of the Road Traffic Act at intersections for right turns and left turns, we find that in the case of right turns, there are more traffic light violations, followed by right turn method and obstructing pedestrians; in the case of left turns, there are fewer traffic light violations than right turns. Interference with people crossing the road will increase.

In view of the current situation, the purpose of the present invention is to alleviate the driver's anxiety and frustration and prevent accidents by giving advance notice and sequentially extinguishing the arrow displays.

以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of arrow indicator lights are provided and a shielding plate is provided between each lamp.

灯器は複数とするが、その数を@定するものではない。There may be more than one lamp, but the number is not fixed.

便宜上、その数を3個とした。For convenience, the number was set to three.

As for the operating method, periodic control is preferable, and the turn-off sequence and time wIM of the lamps are automatically performed.

Since the lights are turned off multiple times, it prevents drivers from entering intersections and allows them to stop at the stop line quickly.

This is based on the fact that when the signal display changes, the probability that a vehicle will stop at the stop line is considered to be a function of deceleration, and increasing vehicle deceleration is an effective means for preventing accidents.

In addition, as shown in Figure 3, if the driver is turning right at point α when the arrow indicator goes out, the driver in this state will be worried about vehicles coming from the Y direction and the pedestrian crossing in the x' force direction. There are cases.

Signal displays have a full red time for clearing vehicles, and the setting of this time is related to the approaching speed of cars and the width of the intersection.

For example, the approaching speed of the vehicle is 30 h/h1 and the width of the intersection is 20 h.
In the case of 711, the full red time is 1 second, and a driver in this condition is at risk of causing a secondary accident.

Also, regarding the turning radius and speed of turning inside an intersection, the turning speed is determined from the turning radius, gravitational acceleration, and road surface friction coefficient, and is limited to a certain value, and turning at a speed higher than that is prohibited. This deviates from the originally ideal turning trajectory within the intersection.

In the case of the above-mentioned intersection, the turning speed of cars in a queuing state is around 14 kV'h, but this is a speed of 3.8 m/s, and it may not be possible to quickly pass out of the intersection.

For these reasons, giving advance notice to the arrow display and turning it off is effective in preventing accidents.

Next, the same effect can be obtained by sequentially turning off the lights as described in claim 2.

The shielding plate (6) causes the arrow indicator light to disappear over time, thereby preventing the driver from entering the intersection unnecessarily, and alleviating the driver's frustration that tends to occur at the change of traffic lights.
