Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide a highly accurate machining process, by setting each cross cutting edge between adjacent spiral grooves in the drill so that it is possible with these cross cutting edges to increase the diameter of a hole to be drilled, to cut out and sever a material, and as well to cut out a certain pattern from a material while the drill has no lateral deflection. CONSTITUTION:In a drill having set cross cutting edges 3 between spiral grooves, these cross cutting edges is subjected to edge-setting 2 as setting of saw teeth. A machining process is made such that a material is made into press-contact with the cross cutting edges 3, and there is such a risk that the drill is broken or laterally deflected. In order to eliminate the above-mentioned risk, the tip of the drill is stably set on a bearing when it is lowered. Further, with these cross cutting edges it is possible to increase the diameter of a hole, to cut out and sever a material and to cut out a certain pattern from a material while the drill has no lateral deflection, and therefore, it is possible to carry out a highly accurate machining process. Further, the starting and terminal points may be optionally selected by raising and lowering the drill so that machining steps may be carried out, independently one by one.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] Current drills only make a hole the size of one drill, and only use the tip edge, and the horizontal edge only serves as a guide and protects the tip edge from wear and tear. In the present invention, the horizontal blades between the spiral grooves are sharpened like a saw.

Since the work is carried out by pressing the object against the horizontal blade, the drill may break or sway due to pressure, so to prevent this, the lowered drill tip is fixed to the bearing ring.

This cross-grain allows you to make holes thicker, cut out, cut, and cut out patterns, and because there is no horizontal deviation, you can do precision work.

With a millet saw, you have to cut from the side and make continuous cuts, but with this drill, the starting and ending points are free by raising and lowering, so each piece can be worked independently.
