前面基板と、互いに平行に形成され、かつ、その
表面を誘電体膜にて被覆された第二の電極群を有
する後面基板とを、前記第一の電極群と前記第二
の電極群とが互いに直交するように相対向させ、
所定の放電ギヤツプを得るように気密封止し、内
部に放電可能なガスを封入して成るプラズマデイ
スプレイパネルに於いて、前記第一の電極群の各
々の電極間隙に位置するようにマスク用絶縁体膜
を形成し、かつ、該第一の電極群と該マスク用絶
縁体膜とを、前記透明な誘電体膜にて被覆したこ
