CONSTITUTION:A chamber 3 is provided in the upstream near a steering roll 2 for correcting zigzag of strip material 1. Three fluid nozzles 4a-4c are provide while facing alternately against the opposite faces of the strip material 1 to blow pressure gas to the strip material to be fed in predetermined direction. Consequently, loose portion of the strip material is waved to increase tensile force at the loose side thus to relieve the tensile force shifted through zigzag correction and to suppress rumple.
