なる。 FIG. 1 shows an example of a methane fermentation tank equipped with a conventional overflow pipe. 100 is a fermentation tank, 101 is a submersible pump, 102 is an inlet, and 103 is an overflow pipe. The liquid level in the overflow pipe 103 is higher than the liquid level in the fermenter 1 by the internal pressure of the fermenter 100. If such an overflow pipe is left unused for a long period of time, scum or untreated waste will float on the upper liquid level in the overflow pipe 103, clogging the overflow pipe. Also, heavy objects in the liquid should be placed in the overflow pipe 1.
03 will precipitate at the inlet portion 103a, clogging this inlet portion 103a. Therefore, it is necessary to perform regular maintenance on overflow pipes. However, with the overflow pipe configuration as described above,
Either the parts that make up the overflow pipe 103 must be disassembled, or a pipe cleaner or the like must be inserted from the outlet of the overflow pipe 103 to remove objects that are clogging the pipe, which is a very troublesome process. Become something.
本発明はこうした従来の欠点を解消するもの
で、以下第2図に従つて説明する。 The present invention solves these conventional drawbacks and will be described below with reference to FIG. 2.

The other end of this overflow pipe is open.
Further, a lid 6 is provided below the valve 5 in a detachable manner. A branch pipe 7 is disposed between the siphon cutter 4 and the valve 5, and is connected to the side wall of the fermenter 1. 8 is a settling section formed between the branch pipe 7 and the valve 5. Note that the other configurations are the same as those shown in FIG.

Next, heavy substances such as sludge in the liquid accumulate in the sedimentation section 8 above the valve 5, but it is not necessary to remove the sediment until it reaches the branch pipe 7, which lengthens the maintenance period. . When the deposit reaches the branch pipe 7, it can be easily removed by opening the lid 6 and valve 5. Even if the sediment is solid, remove the siphon cutter 4,
This can be solved by pushing it out from above with a stick, etc. Further, the lid 6 reliably shuts off water even if the valve 5 cannot be closed reliably due to foreign matter or wear, and there is no need to replace an expensive valve. In other words, the valve 5 only needs to be able to shut off water to the extent that the lid 6 can be easily attached.
