Decorative sheets that closely resemble natural wood have been developed and manufactured due to the depletion of natural wood resources and costs. The reproduction of natural wood is being tested from various aspects such as the synchronized unevenness of the conduit, shine, depth, fiber texture, touch, and smell. For example, the synchronized unevenness is achieved by chemical embossing that suppresses hardening of the surface resin, or by chemical embossing that utilizes gloss differences. In addition, teri is expressed by a film, base material, and/or ink that has a metallic or pearlescent color. Furthermore, the depth is revealed by increasing the thickness of the surface resin, making it translucent, and using sublimation ink, and the texture of the fibers is reproduced by printing on a base material with monofilament fibers arranged parallel to the surface. At present, we are trying to express the appearance of natural wood by using a combination of these materials. However, these methods alone do not lead to a complete resemblance to natural wood. This is because these methods can reproduce shine by reflecting light from metal or pearls, but the location of the reflection remains the same even if you change the viewpoint, whereas as with natural wood, when you change the viewpoint, the degree and location of reflection changes. It lacks the property of moving light (hereinafter simply referred to as movement of light).

The inventors of the present invention have conducted extensive research in view of the above points, and as a result have succeeded in expressing the movement of light. That is, the present invention provides a wood grain embossed plate comprising a convex portion of a conduit portion and a non-conduit portion formed of halftone dots forming a convex portion lower than the convex portion, the halftone convex portion forming the non-conduit portion. The embossing plate is characterized in that the angle of the protruding surface and/or the side surface is selectively continuous or discontinuously different in arbitrary sections, and the embossing plate is used to emboss in synchronization with the pattern, or to emboss the conduit color after embossing. The gist of this invention is a method for producing an embossed decorative material, which is characterized by filling the embossed area with ink and drying it (hereinafter, this process is referred to as wiping).

First, the present invention will be explained using the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a conventional wood grain embossing plate, which consists of a conduit portion 1 and a flat non-conduit portion 2. However, with this embossed version, it is difficult to match the pattern and embossment, as well as the shine. In order to eliminate these drawbacks, a matching embossed wood grain decorative sheet is manufactured by a wiping method in which the embossing plate is used on the thermoplastic resin surface to perform embossing, and then the embossed area is filled with conduit color ink and dried. became possible. However, with this wiping method, the conduit has no gradation and is monotonous, and it is impossible to simultaneously express the wood surface other than the conduit at the same time. In order to improve these drawbacks, an embossing plate was developed that consists of a conduit part 1 and a non-conduit part 3 made of halftone dots, as shown in Figure 2.The wiping method makes it possible to color the non-conduit part in gradations. It became. The density can be controlled by adjusting the size of the halftone dots or the height of the convex portions. However, it is impossible to express the movement of shine with these methods, and even if you combine the methods of kneading metal or pearls into the base material or mixing metals or pearls into printing ink, it is not possible to express the movement of shine. I can only express it. Therefore, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 3, the angle of the protruding surface of the convex part of the halftone dot is selectively varied continuously or discontinuously in arbitrary sections (α3≠β3 in the figure), and in FIG. The side angles of the convex parts of the points are different (in the figure, α4
≠β4). Further, although not shown, both the protruding surface and the side surface may have different angles. Figure 5 is the 4th

Methods for manufacturing this embossed plate E include physical methods such as computer-controlled engraving with a diamond needle, engraving with a high-resolution electron beam, laser, etc., and methods with adjusted light transmittance, such as the one shown in Figure 6. There is a corrosive method using a photo-cured resin using a contact screen with a concentration distribution. In addition to direct emboss formation as shown above, there is also a method in which emboss cells that have been previously formed in the same shape are partially masked with a corrosion-resistant resin and then corroded to selectively change the emboss shape. is also possible. Furthermore, it is also possible to change the angle of the embossing cells by partially filling the concave portions of a mother mold for producing an embossing plate with a cured resin, and then tilting the mother mold to harden and adhere the resin.

The first method is to overlay the embossing plate E on the wood grain-printed base material so that the convex part of the conduit part corresponds to the conduit part during wood grain printing, and then apply heat and pressure to the surface of the base material. It is a method of applying embossing,
The second method is to overlay the embossing plate E on a base material on which no conduit portion is printed so that the convex portion of the conduit portion corresponds to the portion corresponding to the unprinted conduit portion, and then heat it. After pressing, the embossed surface of the base material is filled with conduit color ink and dried. The manufacture of these will be further explained below with reference to the drawings.

Figure 7 shows a process diagram of embossing the base sheet with an embossing plate that matches the pattern. As shown in FIG. 7A, the base material 4 and the embossing plate E are laminated so that the conduit part convex part 1 of the embossing plate E corresponds to the conduit part ink 5 of the base material 4 printed with wood grain, and then, By applying heat and pressure, a decorative material is obtained in which the printing of the conduit portion matches the deep concave portion of the conduit portion, as shown in FIG. 7B. Although not shown, it is also possible to apply conduit color ink only to the embossing plate conduit portion and transfer it to the base sheet at the same time as embossing. This is the so-called valley print method.

In addition, FIG. 8 shows a decorative sheet after embossing the base 4 with the embossing plate shown in FIG. 4 (FIG. 8A) and then wiping it (FIG. 8A).
Figure B). Note that 6 in the figure indicates ink remaining after wiping. The decorative sheet produced in this manner not only has convex and concave surfaces that are in sync with the conduit ink, but also has a movement of shine that closely resembles natural wood.

Example 1 A gravure plate was created from the same wood veneer manuscript (teak wood), and a 0.5m/m thick copper plate was then engraved with diamond needles with different needle tip shapes to produce a matrix, and then the casting method was applied. An embossed plate having the shape shown in Figure 3 was created using the following steps. Afterwards, a teak pattern was printed using gravure printing on a teak-colored polyvinyl chloride film 100 μm (HZL56225, manufactured by Bando Chemical Co., Ltd.). The ink used was an ink containing a vinyl chloride/acrylic copolymer as a vehicle. A transparent vinyl chloride film of 100μ (CO8125, manufactured by Bando Kagaku Co., Ltd.) was laminated on this printed moat, and at the same time, an embossing plate was placed along the pattern to perform embossing (150°C, 2 minutes, 130Kg/cm 3 ). The resulting PVC composite film had embossing that matched the pattern and also had a shift in shine.

Example 2 After creating a copper roll with a uniform cell shape, it was partially masked with lacquer paint, and corrosive liquid (ferric chloride aqueous solution) of different concentrations was sprayed at different angles to change the angle of the cell shape. I created a modified embossed version and finished it with chrome plating. Roll hot embossing was performed on a 150 μm oak-colored polyvinyl chloride sheet (GD17320, manufactured by Bando Chemical Co., Ltd.) into which aluminum pigment had been kneaded, using the thus obtained oak-patterned embossing plate with the embossed shape shown in Figure 5. (170℃, 10m/min, 10Kg/cm). This sheet is coated with black wiping ink (manufactured by Moroboshi Ink Co., Ltd.)
VTPW) and dried. Drying was done by air drying at 60°C. The resulting decorative sheet had a pattern and embossing that were in sync with each other and had a shift in shine.
