従来から、紙、布等のシート状物に接着剤を介
して厚み0.2mm前後の銘木単板が貼着された銘木
単板貼りシートは公知である。しかし、この銘木
単板貼りシートを、直角またはそれに近い小さな
曲率半径をもつた基板に貼着した場合、特に単板
の導管部分の周辺が割れてふくれ上りきれいに貼
着できない欠点があつた。また、単板に厚みがあ
ると、単板のねじれの影響も無視できず、作業性
が悪い欠点があつた。このねじれ等を防止するた
めに、裏打ち材のシートの厚みを厚くすると、銘
木単板貼りシートを基板に貼つた時にシヤープな

なお、最も好ましい単板の厚みは0.05〜0.15mmで

りシートの表面にウレタン塗装仕上げを行ない、
曲面仕上げした合板に接着したところ、突板厚み
が0.35mmのものでは曲率半径が7mmで導管部を中
心に割れが生じたが、突板厚みが0.20mmのもので
