Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the medicine resistance and flexibility by applying perfluoro elastomer film at least onto the contact face with fluid on seal member body. CONSTITUTION:Perfluoro elastomer film 4 is applied at least onto the contact face with fluid 2 in said face 2 or the rear face 3 of seal member body 1. Consequently, the seal member body 1 can be protected from medicines through perfluoro elastomer film having excellent medicine resistance to achieve cost reduction because relatively inexpensive synthetic rubber can be employed as the material of seal member body 1. While since perfluoro elastomer has high resiliency, it can follow resilient deformation of seal member body thus to cause no peeling of film.

合わせたもの、補強布入り合成ゴムと弗素樹脂との両材
料を貼り合わせたもの等が用いられている。特に一般の
合成ゴムでは耐えられない化学薬品や薬品の成分が不明
なもの、更には種々の薬品を交互に使用する場合等は本
体を合成ゴムで形成し薬液と接する側に弗素樹脂製材料
を貼ったものが提案されている、しかし弗素樹脂単体の
ものは硬くて柔軟性に欠け、また薬液接触側のみに弗素
樹脂製材料を用いたものにあっては、弾性係数の遠いか
ら本体の伸びに弗素樹脂材料の伸びが追随できず、弗素
樹脂材料に破損が生じるために長時間の使用に耐えられ
ないという問題があった。そこで最近においてパーフロ
ロエラストマー製のダイヤフラムが提案されるに至った
。ここでパーフロロエラストマーとは商品名を「カルレ
ンツ」 (デエボン社)といい、弗素樹脂(商品名テフ
ロン)のもつ耐薬品性とゴムの持つ弾力性とを兼ね備え
ている。しかしパーフロロエラストマー単体のみではコ
スト高になり、また成形がgltIIiであるという問
題がある。

材本体を薬液から保護でき、したがってシール部材本体
の材料に比較的安価な合成ゴムを使用できて低コスト化
が図れ、しかもパーフロロエラストマーをフィルム伏に
して使用することからシール部材の製造段階においてパ
ーフロロエラストマーの成形の困難性が同等支障とはな
らないという効果を奏す、またパーフロロエラストマー
が弾力性に冨むことからシール部材本体の弾性変形にも
追随でき、したがってフィルムが剥がれることもなく、
更にパーフロロエラストマーが耐熱性に優れていること
から高温流体に対しても使用できるという効果を奏する
