The present invention imparts high setting properties to hair,
This invention relates to a hair fixative that can protect hair from various damages. Generally, hair fixatives include setting lotions used to set hair and hair sprays for maintaining the set style. Usually, hair fixatives are composed of a hair fixing resin and various plasticizers, and absorb as much moisture as possible to eliminate the negative effects of moisture, such as reduced curl retention and poor finish such as stickiness. Or, it has a composition that does not allow it to pass through. Therefore,
When conventional hair fixatives are used, the hair becomes dry, lacks flexibility, and has extremely low breaking strength because it cannot retain the necessary amount of moisture. Therefore, mechanical forces such as brushing when setting or removing sets damage the hair, resulting in split ends and cut ends. In particular, when hair is set using a setting lotion while being subjected to heat treatment using a dryer or the like, the above-mentioned damage to the hair is significant. Under these circumstances, the ideal hair fixative is
By forming a uniform hair-fixing resin film on the hair surface, it must be able to give the hair set retention and a natural finish, and in addition, it must be able to maintain the hair itself in a healthy condition. In other words, it must maintain the proper moisture content of the hair, keep it stiff, natural, and supple, and it must also protect the hair from external factors such as heat and mechanical forces such as brushing. There must be. As a result of intensive research into a hair fixative that satisfies the above requirements, the present inventor found that it has higher hygroscopicity than anionic or nonionic resins, which are general-purpose hair fixing resins, and has a non-sticky finish. Ampholytic polymers, especially amphoteric acrylic resins, which have strong adhesion to hair and curl retention properties, and low molecular weight compounds that are absorbed into the hair and enhance the moisturizing effect of the hair, giving it natural suppleness and stiffness. It has been found that a hair fixative containing polyethylene glycol (molecular weight 200-800) can satisfy the above requirements. In addition, the inventors have found that by further containing a certain type of silicone oil, the resin can be uniformly adhered to the hair surface, and it can provide not only shine but also lubricity to the hair, and also be effective during setting or removing the set. It has been found that this method can promote the effect of preventing hair damage caused by mechanical forces such as brushing. The present invention has been made based on this knowledge. That is, according to the present invention, the following general formula (1)
0.3 to 10% by weight of an amphoteric acrylic resin (molecular weight: 30,000 to 100,000) consisting of A and B units shown in , and 0.05 to 3% by weight of a polyoxyalkylene-modified organopolysiloxane consisting of a, b, and c units of general formula (2) %, and 0.02 to 3% by weight of polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of 200 to 800.

[Formula] (wherein, R' is a methyl group or a partially phenyl group, R' 2 is hydrogen or a C 1 to C 5 alkyl group,
p is 1 to 5, q is 2 or 3, x is the average number of oxyalkylene groups, s and T are respectively [-Si(R' 1 ) 2 O]-, [-SiR' 1 (CH 2 ) p O (C q H 2q
O) x R' 2 ]O] - represents the average number of units, and x, s and T are
The polyoxyalkylene group is 25% of the total amount of the copolymer.
The content is 70% by weight and the viscosity is 10 to 100 centistokes (25°C). ) In the hair fixative of the present invention, the above-mentioned general formula (1) is used as a hair fixing resin, which has high hygroscopicity, does not leave a sticky finish, has strong adhesion to hair, and has curl retention properties. An amphoteric acrylic resin consisting of A and B units represented by is used, but since this resin alone has insufficient lubricity, it is added to this resin consisting of a, b, and c units represented by the general formula (2) above. By adding polyoxyalkylene-modified organopolysiloxane, the resin film is uniformly spread over the hair surface, and the lubricity of the resin surface is improved, thereby preventing hair damage from mechanical forces such as brushing. It can give shine to hair. Moreover, in the hair fixative of the present invention, polyethylene glycol is further added as a humectant. The content of the amphoteric acrylic resin in the hair fixative composition of the present invention is 0.3 to 10% by weight,
Preferably it is 1 to 3% by weight. If it is less than 0.3% by weight, the effects of the present invention cannot be obtained, and curl retention is particularly poor, and if it exceeds 10% by weight, the finish is poor, especially the finish is heavy and stiff, which is not desirable.
If m/n is less than 1/4, the hygroscopicity of the resin itself will be too high, the curl retention will be poor, and the finish will be sticky, while if m/n exceeds 4/1, the resin itself will become hard and the finish will be stiff, which is undesirable. The polyoxyalkylene-modified organopolysiloxane in the hair fixative composition of the present invention contains polyoxyalkylene groups in an amount of 25 to 70% by weight, preferably 40 to 60% by weight based on the total weight of the polymer.
% by weight and has a viscosity of 10 to 100 centistokes at 25°C.
That is, if the amount of polyoxyalkylene groups is less than 25% by weight based on the total weight of the polymer, the compatibility with the hair fixing resin will be poor, and the resin film will become cloudy and the finished gloss will deteriorate. If it exceeds 70% by weight, curl retention and lubricity will be poor, which is not preferable. Furthermore, if the viscosity is low, the lubricity will be poor, and if the viscosity is too high, the finish after hair treatment will be heavy and sticky, which is undesirable. The amount of polyoxyalkylene-modified organopolysiloxane added is 0.05 to 3% by weight, preferably 0.1 to 0.2% by weight, based on the weight of the hair fixative composition, but if it is less than 0.05% by weight, the lubricity will be poor, and if it exceeds 3% by weight. and the finish quality deteriorates, which is not desirable. In the hair fixative composition of the present invention, 0.02 to 3% by weight of polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 200 to 800 is further added as a humectant in order to adsorb into the hair and maintain the appropriate moisture content of the hair. Ru. In addition, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol,
Low-molecular-weight polyhydric alcohols such as trimethylene glycol, β-butylene glycol, and glycerin are also said to have excellent moisturizing properties, but these substances are adsorbed to amphoteric acrylic resins, so they are not effective as humectants. do not. Furthermore, even if the amount of these substances is increased, the polymeric substance will be too plasticized, resulting in poor finishing properties. Also,
Polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight exceeding 800 does not adsorb to the inside of the hair, is not effective as a moisturizer, and also deteriorates the finish. If the amount of moisturizer is less than 0.02% by weight, the amount absorbed to the inside of the hair will be insufficient and the moisturizing effect will not be obtained, and if it exceeds 3% by weight, a large amount of the moisturizer will remain on the hair surface and the finish will be affected. deteriorate. The hair fixative composition of the present invention can contain, in addition to the above three components, various compounds that are usually added to this type of composition. For example, ethanol or water can be blended as a solvent, and various halogenated hydrocarbons, LPG, dimethyl ether, etc. can be blended as a propellant gas for aerosol type hair sprays. Furthermore, general-purpose cosmetic base materials, fragrances, pigments, etc. can be added as long as they have functions that do not depart from the purpose of the present invention. Although the reason why the effects of the present invention can be obtained by the hair fixative composition of the present invention explained above is not clear,
It can probably be thought of as follows. That is, as is clear from the molecular structure, amphoteric acrylic resin has positive,
It has both negative and negative ionic moieties, so it has good adsorption to hair and is flexible itself. In addition, amphoteric acrylic resins obtain an interfacial tension lower than that of hair with the help of silicone, which is thought to be coordinated at the interface of the film, and therefore diffuse evenly over the hair surface to form a uniform film. ,
It gives curl retention as well as flexibility to the hair. In addition, the silicone coordinating at the interface of the resin film not only provides gloss but also provides excellent lubricity to the hair, and is effective in preventing damage to the hair due to brushing and the like. In addition, polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of 200 to 800 penetrates the hair epidermis and enters the fur, exhibiting the effect as a humectant and maintaining the appropriate moisture content of the hair. Furthermore, polyethylene glycol prevents moisture from escaping due to excessive heat when using a hair dryer, etc., thereby preventing the hair from becoming dry, maintaining suppleness and stiffness, and improving the strength of the hair when it is set without weakening its breaking strength. Protects hair from mechanical forces such as brushing. Examples of the present invention will be shown below to further specifically explain the present invention. Example 1 A hair fixative having the composition shown in Table 1 was prepared and evaluated as a pump spray type setting lotion using the following test methods. Table 2 shows the results.
Shown below. As the amphoteric acrylic resin, one shown in the following formula [] was used, and as the polyoxyethylene-modified organopolysiloxane, one shown in the formula [] was used. (1) Curl retention Sprinkle 0.5g of the hair fixative of the present invention on a hair bundle with a length of 25cm and a weight of 2g, comb thoroughly to apply the hair fixative to the entire hair bundle, and then Wrap the hair bundle into a rod and dry for 1 hour at a temperature of 70 to 80 degrees Celsius.
Next, the hair bundle was cooled in a desiccator, and the curled hair bundle was removed from the rod and hung in a box at 25° C. and 80% RH, and curl retention was evaluated in the following manner. In other words, the length of the hair bundle immediately after hanging in the box is considered to be 100% of the curl retention rate, and the length of the hair bundle (25 cm) that has been restored to its original shape after the curl has grown out is considered to be 0% of the curl retention rate. Based on this, the curl retention rate was calculated. However, the numerical value is the curl retention rate after 2 hours. Curl retention rate (%) = L - L t / L - L 0 × 100 [In the formula, L is the length of the original uncurled hair bundle (25 cm), and L t is the length of the hair bundle after 2 hours. Well, L 0 is 25
Length of the hair bundle immediately after placing it in a box at ℃ and 80% RH] (2) Finishing property A hair bundle is made from undamaged hair with a length of 25 cm and a weight of 10 g, and the hair fixative of the present invention is applied to this hair bundle. Spread 2.0g of
Thoroughly comb the hair to apply the hair fixative to the entire hair strand, and after drying, 20 testers evaluated the lack of stiffness, stickiness, shine, and ease of combing. . Evaluation criteria 〇: Good △: Fairly bad ×: Bad (3) Heat damage prevention property Spray 2.0g of hair fixative on hair strands treated under the same conditions as in the finish evaluation test, and thoroughly comb through the hair. Apply the hair fixative to the entire hair bundle, and
It was dried with hot air at 80°C for 5 minutes and evaluated according to the following criteria. (b) Roughness of the hair surface due to heat or hot air (dryness): If there is no dryness, the hair is evaluated as ○, if it feels slightly dry, it is △, and if it is dry, it is evaluated as ×. (b) Decreased hair strength due to heat or hot air (split ends,
Hair breakage): After hot air drying, brush 100 times with a nylon brush and count the number of split ends and breakage per 100 hairs. General formula [] General formula []

[Table] Among the compositions No. 1 to 15, No. 1, No. 14, and No. 15 are compositions of the present invention, and compositions No. 2 to 13 are comparative examples. As is clear from Table 2, the composition of the present invention is
As a setting agent, the curl retention properties, finishing properties, and heat damage prevention properties are very excellent, whereas the comparative examples show considerably inferior performance. That is, it does not contain polyethylene glycol.
With No. 2, the hair becomes dry and easily damaged due to heat treatment, and with No. 3, which does not contain polyoxyethylene-modified organopolysiloxane, the finish of the hair, especially gloss and combability, is poor. No. 4, which does not contain ethylene-modified organopolysiloxane, is considerably inferior in both finish quality and heat damage prevention properties. No. 5, which uses a resin with fewer amphoteric units than the amphoteric acrylic resin of the present invention, has a stiff finish, which is not desirable.
On the other hand, No. 6, which uses a resin with a large amount of amphoteric units, is undesirable because it has poor curl retention and a sticky finish. In No. 7, which used polyethylene glycol with a high molecular weight outside the scope of the present invention, the polyethylene glycol remained on the hair surface, resulting in an undesirable sticky finish. In addition, Nos. 8, 9, and 10, which use low molecular weight polyhydric alcohols outside the scope of the present invention, such as diethylene glycol, trimethylene glycol, and β-butylene glycol, respectively, cannot be completely adsorbed inside the hair, and the resin becomes too plasticized. This is not preferable because it deteriorates curl retention and finishing properties. Regarding Nos. 11, 12, and 13 that use polyoxyethylene-modified organopolysiloxane outside the scope of the present invention, first of all, the polyoxyethylene content is low.
With No. 11, the gloss is poor, with too much No. 12, the gloss is poor, the finish is sticky, and combing is poor, and with No. 13, which has a high viscosity, the finish is sticky, which is not desirable. A similar evaluation of commercially available settling lotions revealed that those with excellent curl retention had a stiff finish, while those with a non-stiff finish had poor curl retention and a sticky finish, and all items were satisfied. There's nothing to gain. Example 2 A hair fixative of the present invention having the composition shown below was prepared and evaluated as an aerosol type hair spray using the following test methods and compared with a commercially available hair spray. The results are shown in Table 3. (1) Curl retention Sprinkle 0.5g of water on a hair bundle with a length of 25cm and a weight of 2g.Then, wrap the hair bundle into a rod and heat it at a temperature of 70 to 80℃.
After drying the hair for an hour, the hair was cooled in a desiccator, the curled hair bundle was removed from the rod, and 0.5g of hairspray was sprayed on the hair, 25℃: 80%RH.
2 in the same manner as described in Example 1.
Curl retention was evaluated by calculating the curl retention rate after a period of time. (2) Finishing property Spray 2g of hairspray evenly over the entire hair bundle with a length of 25cm and a weight of 10g, and after drying, apply a tester 20
Based on the name, evaluations were made on the lack of stiffness, non-stickiness, gloss, and ease of combing. Evaluation criteria: Good △ Slightly bad × Bad Composition Amphoteric acrylic resin (shown in formula [], m/n = 1/2, average molecular weight 60000): 1.0% by weight Polyethylene glycol (molecular weight 600)
