Abstract

PURPOSE:To protect a cargo in the shelf from dripped oil in a device as referred to the titled for a stacker crane used in an automatic storing warehouse by installing a cover which is movable to the horizontal direction under a slide frame but can be engaged with the slide frame by means of a hook joint. CONSTITUTION:A fitting 9 of a fitting device 6 for a cover 3 is allowed to be swung vertically by a cylinder 10 for picking up a cargo from a shelf 7a. The fitting 9 is to be engaged with the bar 5 in such a manner that the bar is held into the forked tip ends permitting the cover 3 to move accompanied with the slide frame 7, where the bar 5 is projected from the lower surface of a cargo table 4 that is fixed on the slide frame 7. This configuration enables the lower surface of a fork device 2 to be always protected by the cover 3 preventing oil and others from dripping down onto the cargo in the shelf.

Automated warehouses are equipped with three-dimensional shelves and stacker cranes that load and unload cargo from these shelves. This stacker crane can extend the telescoping fork device below the load to scoop up the load, or vice versa. (JP-A-56-113602, JP-A-57-51605, JP-A-57-72503) When loading and unloading cargo with this stacker crane, the fork device is pushed out to the shelf side, so the lower There was a drawback that the lubricating oil used for the fork device on the cargo on the shelf could fall from the fork device and contaminate the cargo. To overcome this problem, it is possible to install a partition plate between the upper and lower shelves, but this increases costs when there are many shelves and also reduces the efficiency of storage space on the shelves. It ends up.

As the telescopic structure of the cover 3, a telescopic structure is adopted. The top surface of the cover 3 is provided with a hooking device 6 that is hooked onto a hanging rod 5. The cover 3 with such a metal fitting device is provided on the lower surface of each of the fork device 2 in the direction in which it projects to the left and right. 4 is fixed downward, and both ends tc of the loading platform 4 on the forward and backward movement sides are provided. This loading platform 4 is fixed to the final stage slide frame 7 of the fork device 2.The metal fitting device 6 is fixed at the upper end as shown in FIG. A bifurcated metal fitting 9 is rotatably attached to the upper surface of the cover 3 through a shaft 101, and a cylinder 11 is connected to the metal fitting 9I from the cover 3.

In this embodiment, when scooping up the load 8 from the shelf 7a, the extension action of the cylinder 11 rotates the metal fitting 9 about the shaft 10 until it becomes vertical. When the metal fitting 9 becomes vertical, the two upper end prongs of the metal fitting 9 will sandwich the rod 5. After that, when the fork device 2 is extended toward the shelf 7a, since the metal fitting 9 is hooked on the rod 5, the cover 3 is also extended in the same direction.
It covers the lower part of the fork device 2 as it extends from the state shown in FIG. 3 to the state shown in FIG. Therefore, the oil droplets falling from the fork device 2 are stopped by the cover 3, and the load below is not contaminated with oil droplets. After this, the elevating body 1a is raised and the loading platform 4 is lifted.
The loading of the load is completed by scooping up the load 8 from the shelf 7a and retracting the fork device 2 toward the elevating body la. When the fork device 2 is retracted, the fork device 2 and the cover 3 simultaneously retract in the same direction and return to their original positions.

To scoop a load onto the shelf 7b, the cylinder 11 of the metal fitting device 6 is retracted, the metal fitting 9 is rotated downward around the shaft 10, and the metal fitting 9 is removed from the rod 5. Next, in the metal fitting device 6a on the other side, the metal fitting 6 is erected by the extension of the cylinder 11, and the metal fitting 9 of the metal fitting device 6a is hung on the rod 5 at the other end. After that, the fork device 2 is pushed out toward the shelf 7b. At this time, the cover 3 is pulled out in the same direction as the fork device 2 by the metal fitting device 6 integrally with the fork device 2, and the fork device 2
The cover 3a prevents oil droplets from falling.

When storing the load 8 on the shelves 7a, 7b using the fork device 2, the fork device 2 is pushed out to the shelves 7a, 7b, and then the load is moved from the loading platform 4 onto the fork device 2 by lowering the elevating body 1a to the shelves 7a, 7b. Scoop down, and then retract the fork device 2. In this case as well, hang the metal fitting 9 on the rod 5, cover 3,
3a is expanded and contracted in the same direction as the fork device 2 to stop the oil droplet from falling.

As described above, according to the present invention, the load below can be protected by the undercover that expands and contracts in the same direction as the fork device expands and contracts, so the load can be protected by attaching a partition plate to each load storage section of the shelf. It is cheaper than other products.
