軸間に変速歯車機構を介装して伝導系を構成し、さらに
並設したキック軸上のキックドライブギャの回転を、ド
ライブ軸上のキックアイドルギャを介して、プライマリ
ドリブンギャと一体のキックドリブンギャに伝えるよう
にしたキック始動系を備えた自動２輪車において、上記
ドライブ軸上に、キックアイドルギャとラチェットで対
向し、常時スプリングによって離間するように付勢され
たキックアイドル駆動ギヤを回転自在、摺動自在に軸支
して、キックドライブギャと噛合せると共に、キック操
作によってキック軸が回転したときにキック軸とキック
ドライブギャとを結合するキックスタータの軸方向の動
きによって、同時に上記キックアイドル駆動ギヤを軸方
向に押してラチェッ１〜を介してキックアイドルギャと
結合させるようにしたことを特徴とする自動２輪車のキ
