するピンを示す。

この半径方向の位置はバンド5によつて制御され
る。キヤプスタン6の回転角θはたとえばステツ
ピングモータ(stepping motor、すなわちpulse
motor)で正確に制御され、ピン7の位置が移動
するのでバンド5の位置が移動しキヤリツジ4の
位置を移動させ(図面の右又は左の方へ)、この
キヤリツジ4に固定されている磁気ヘツド3の位
置を移動する。
