DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a fan/air warmer that is used as an electric fan in summer and as an electric hot air fan in winter.

None of the conventional electric fan/warm air appliances can fully satisfy both functions, and furthermore, they have complicated structures and are difficult to handle, making them impractical. This is because electric fans and hot air blowers have essentially contradictory characteristics in terms of wind speed and air volume.

First of all, according to the JIS standard, a fan with a diameter of 20 cm is required to have a wind speed of approximately 2 at a distance of 60 cm in front of the fan.
Strong winds of m/sec or more and air volume of 12.5 m 3 /min or more and a large air volume are required, but considering the function as a hot air fan, it is necessary to not feel cold air and to have a moderate wind speed. That is, it is empirically appropriate that the wind speed at the discharge port is about 1 to 2 m/sec for hot air of 50 to 100°C. However, since the heat capacity of a general household hot air fan is usually less than 1.5kW, the air volume must be reduced to 1 to 2 m 3 /min at the outlet, or less than 1/10 of that of an electric fan, or the air will turn into cold air. . However, adjusting such a large air volume is not only difficult by simply adjusting the motor's rotation speed, but if the warm air outlet is the same size as a fan, the discharge speed will be too low and you will not feel the wind. , Mechanical operations such as installing a damper that can be opened and closed at the discharge port to collect the wind are also required.

For example, as described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 48-23143 and Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 48-36433, which show conventional examples, in the conventional example, as shown in FIG. air intake port 1
A fan motor 4 and a heat generating part 5 are provided in a case 3 having a discharge port 2 and a fan motor 4 on the front side of the discharge port 2, and a damper 6 for adjusting the air volume of the discharge port is movably provided in front of the discharge port 2.

When used as an electric fan, the damper 6 is opened without energizing the heat generating part 5, and when the heat generating part 5 is used as a hot air fan, the heat generating part 5 is turned off.
Electricity is applied, the damper 6 is adjusted, the discharge port 2 is throttled, and the air velocity is reduced to an appropriate air volume. Note that the rotation direction and rotation speed of the fan motor 4 are fixed and always constant.

In such a configuration, not only is it troublesome to adjust the damper 6, but also the damper 6 generates a large amount of noise due to air resistance when using a hot air fan. Even when opened, the damper 6 is located in front of the fan motor 4, creating wind resistance, and a considerable drop in wind force is unavoidable. Furthermore, the damper 6 may generate vibration noise due to the vibration of the fan motor 4.

In addition, in order to improve heat exchange, the heat generating part 5 must be placed in front of or near the fan, so unless it is mobile, it will experience wind resistance when used as a fan.
The drawback was that it caused a large decrease in air volume.

In order to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention provides a fan and a heat generating part inside the case so as to face each other, has an air intake port and cool air discharge port in front of the fan, and has an air intake port and cool air discharge port on the opposite side. An air inlet/warm air outlet with an opening area smaller than the opening area of the cool air outlet is opened, and a heat generating part is interposed between the air intake/warm air outlet and the fan, so that the fan An electric fan equipped with a fan motor such that when the fan rotates, it emits a large amount of cool air from the air intake port and cool air outlet, and when the fan rotates in reverse, it releases a small amount of warm air from the air intake port and hot air outlet. It also provides hot air equipment.

With the above-mentioned configuration, the functions of both an electric fan and a hot air fan can be fully satisfied by using a fan motor that can rotate forward or reverse simply by switching a switch without mechanical operation of a damper or the like. be.

The configuration of the embodiment is as shown in FIG. 2, in which a fan motor 7 is provided in the case 3 that can change the wind direction by forward or reverse rotation, etc. An air inlet/cool air outlet 8 and an air inlet/warm air outlet 9 having an opening area smaller than the opening area of the air inlet/cool air outlet 8 are provided, and a heat generating portion 5 is provided within the case 3. The air inlet and hot air outlet 9
and the fan 10.
The fan 10 uses a propeller fan such as that commonly used in electric fans, and the motor 7 uses, for example, a capacitor motor, and can be switched between forward rotation and reverse rotation with an electrical switch (not shown). There is.

The operation in the above-mentioned configuration is that first, when used as an electric fan, the fan 10 rotates in the forward rotation direction;
Air is sucked through the air inlet/warm air outlet 9, and cool air is emitted from the cool air outlet 8. In this case, the heat generating part 5
is not energized. On the other hand, when used as a hot air fan, the fan 10 rotates in the opposite rotation direction, and at the same time, the heat generating section 5 is energized, an appropriate amount of hot air passes through it, and hot air is output from the hot air outlet 9.

Next, FIG. 3 shows another embodiment. The difference from FIG. 2 is that in addition to the hot air and cool air outlets 8 and 9 of the case, a ventilation hole 11 is provided on the outer periphery of the fan motor.

In this way, as shown in FIG. 3a, when using an electric fan, air can also be sucked in through the ventilation hole 11, and even stronger wind can be emitted. On the other hand, when using a hot air fan, as shown in Figure 3b, the air from the fan travels in a straight line, so the amount of air leaking from the ventilation holes 11 is small, and it is possible in design to suppress it to a level that does not cause discomfort. It is.

Furthermore, FIG. 4 shows still another embodiment. Third
The difference from the figure is that a wind direction plate 12 is further provided in the ventilation hole 11 on the outer periphery. In this way, when the hot air fan is used, the wind directly hits the wind direction plate 12, and the amount of cold air leaking out of the case 3 can be further reduced.

従つてつぎのような作用効果がある。 Therefore, it has the following effects.

The blowing efficiency of commonly used propeller fans is quite different between forward rotation and reverse rotation, and simply rotating the propeller in the opposite direction significantly reduces the amount of warm air blown. Also,
Since the cool air outlet 8 is left wide open, when a fan is used, there is no wind resistance at the front cool air outlet 8, so a strong cool breeze can be obtained. At the same time, since the heat generating part 5 can be provided near the hot air outlet 9 away from the fan motor 7, the resistance of the wind against the fan 10 can be reduced, so that a strong enough wind can be obtained as an electric fan. On the other hand, since the warm air discharge port 9 is opened by appropriately constricting it, an appropriate wind speed and volume can be obtained when used as a hot air fan.

As described above, the present invention provides a fan and a heat generating part facing each other inside the case, has an air intake port and cool air outlet at the front of the fan, and has an air intake port and cool air outlet at the opposite side. An air inlet/cool air outlet having an opening smaller than the opening area is provided, a heat generating part is interposed between the air inlet/warm air outlet and the fan, and when the fan rotates forward, the air inlet/cool air outlet is opened. Equipped with a fan motor that discharges a large amount of cool air from the cooling air outlet and a small amount of hot air from the air intake and hot air outlet when the fan rotates in reverse, By using a reversible fan motor, a fully functional electric fan and warm air fan can be obtained by simply changing the blowing direction, and there is no need for mechanical mechanisms such as dampers that can cause failures. The present invention is advantageous in that it is possible to obtain a warm air fan that also functions as a fan and is easy to handle.
