本発明はつき板1を短手方向(矢印A)に搬送
する下コンベア2の上方に上記つき板1を吸引チ
ヤンバー3にて下面に吸引してつき板1の長手方
向(矢印B)に搬送する上コンベア4を設け、下
コンベア2にて搬送されるつき板1を上方に押し
上げて上コンベア4に吸引せしめるテーブルリフ
タ5を上コンベア4の下方に配置して成るつき板
の搬送方向転換装置において、吸引チヤンバー
3、テーブルリフタ5のうち少くとも一方5をつ
き板1の長手方向(矢印B)に複数個に分割して
各分割部5a,5b,5c,…をそれぞれ独立に
制御し、つき板1を長手方向(矢印B)の前端1
aから後端1bに向つて順次上コンベア4に吸引
せしめて成ることを特徴とするつき板の搬送方向
転換装置に係るものであり、その目的とするとこ
ろは搬送方向転換時につき板にしわが寄ることの
ないつき板の搬送方向転換装置を提供することに

おり、つき板1を略水平状態に保持しながら上昇
させ、常時吸引状態にある上コンベア4の吸引チ
ヤンバー3にてこのつき板1を吸引するようにな
つていた。しかしながら、このような従来例にあ
つてはつき板1全体が吸引チヤンバー3により同
時に吸引されることにあつてしわが寄ることな
く、つき板1が上コンベア4に吸引されるように
見えるが、実際にはテーブルリフタ上昇速度とつ
き板上昇速度すなわちつき板吸引速度との間に多
少の差があるためつき板は下コンベア2から上コ
ンベア4に引き渡される過程でフリーな状態にな
り、つき板1の各部が順不動に上コンベア4に吸
引されることになつてつき板1にしわが寄り易い
という欠点があつた。例えば前後端部が吸引され
た後中央部が吸引される場合にはしわが発生する
という欠点があつた。本発明は上記の欠点に鑑み

このテーブルリフタ5はつき板1の長手方向(矢
印B)に複数個に分割されている。各分割部5a
〜5iはそれぞれ独立に制御されるようになつて
おり、5a,5b,5c,…の順序で駆動され、
第2図cに示すようにつき板1を長手方向(矢印
B)の前端1aから後端1bに向つて順次上方に
押し上げ、上コンベア4の吸引チヤンバー3にて
吸引させるようになつており、つき板1は長手方
向(矢印B)の前端1aから後端1bに向つて順
次上コンベア4に引き渡されることになり、つき
