Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は自動車の車体構造、特に後輪懸架装置
の取付部に改良を加えて後部車体構造に関するも
のである。

たフロアの構造が種々知られている。しかしなが
ら、単にフロアの補強のために補強部材を加えた
り、フロアを構成する部材に複雑な加工を加えて
補強する方法では、車体の重量が増して走行上不
利となつたり、材料費や製造工程に要するコスト
が増して製造上不利となつたりするため、材料や
工程の大幅な追加を必要としない方法で上記フロ
アの部分を補強することが望まれる。

成するように固着されたリヤサイドメンバを結合
し、この結合によつて強度の増したリヤサイドメ
ンバの底部に後輪懸架装置を取り付けるようにし
た構造が提案されている。この構造は、フロアの
下の閉断面構造のリヤサイドメンバで懸架装置に
かかる荷重を受ける点およびこの荷重を閉断面構
造のサイドシルに分担させる点で強度上有利であ
り、また余分な材料を使用しない点でコスト的に
も優れている。しかし、リヤサイドメンバにかか
る荷重をサイドシルに伝達させるのはリヤサイド
メンバの側縁とサイドシルインナの内面との固着
部のみであるため、リヤサイドメンバに大荷重が
加わつたとき、この固着部が剥離するおそれがあ
り、実用上十分な強度を有するとは言えない。

ケツト固定部を形成し、このブラケツト固定部に
後輪懸架装置取付用のブラケツトを固定するよう
にするとともに、リヤサイドメンバの端縁を下方
に折り曲げ、この折曲部をサイドシルインナとサ
イドシルアウタに固着してこれら3者によつてサ
イドシル後部の閉断面を形成するようにしたこと
を特徴とするものである。

つて補強されている。センタフロアパネル11の
側縁とリアフロアパネル12の前部の側縁は車体
の側縁に沿つて前後方向に延びる閉断面構造のサ
イドシル4に固着されている。サイドシル4はフ
ロア1と直接固着されるサイドシルインナ41と
この外方に閉断面を形成するよう固着されるサイ
ドシルアウタ42とから構成され、後端はリヤタ
イヤハウス5に接続されている。このサイドシル
4の上方にはセンターピラー6が接続され、この
センターピラー6の上方から後方へ向かつてリヤ
