A conventional solar water heater of this type has a configuration as shown in FIG. That is, 21 is a heat storage part connected to a heat collector main body (not shown), and this heat storage part 21 is equipped with a tank 22 inside. 2
3 is a lid for detachably attaching a temperature detection sensor (not shown) inside the tank 22 to detect the hot water temperature in the tank 22, and a lead wire 24 of the temperature detection sensor (not shown) is connected from this lid 23. is derived. 25 corresponds to the lid 23 and the heat storage section 2;
1, and a rubber cover 26 is removably attached to this opening 25 by fitting. 27 is a hole provided in the rubber cover 26 for the lead wire 24 to pass through, 28 is a lead wire from a display device (not shown) installed indoors, etc., and this lead wire 28 is for temperature detection. It is connected to a lead wire 24 of a sensor (not shown) in an insulated state by a tape 29 or the like. However, in this configuration, when connecting the lead wire 24 of the temperature detection sensor (not shown) and the lead wire 28 from the display device (not shown), the rubber cover 26 has a connecting terminal section. Since there is no rubber cover 26 on the roof, first remove the rubber cover 26.
Then, the lead wire 24 is passed through the hole 27 of the rubber cover 26, and then the lead wire 24 and the lead wire 28 from the display (not shown) are connected to the tape 29.
Therefore, the workability is extremely poor, and since the connection part using the tape 29 etc. is provided outside the heat storage section 21, the tape 29 etc. may deteriorate. Rainwater may flow into the interior through the hole 27 of the rubber cover 26, causing poor insulation of the temperature detection sensor (not shown). When connecting the lead wires 24 from the display device (not shown) and the lead wires 28 from the display device, there are various problems such as when removing the rubber cover 26, the rubber cover 26 may be accidentally dropped. The dot was hot.

2 to 4 show the related structure of the cover 3 and the temperature detection sensor, and 4 shows the heat storage section 2.
The tank 4 is equipped with a protruding portion 5 on the side wall thereof having a threaded portion on its outer periphery. Reference numeral 6 denotes a temperature detection sensor for detecting the temperature of hot water in the tank 4. This temperature detection sensor 6 has a waterproof gasket 7 integrated in advance, and is inserted into the tank 4 through the hole 5a of the protrusion 5. After passing the lead wire 9 of the temperature detection sensor 6 through the hole 8a of the lid 8, the temperature detection sensor 6 is fixed to the side wall of the tank 4 by screwing the lid 8 onto the protrusion 5. In this case, water leakage is prevented by the action of the waterproof gasket 7.

Reference numeral 10 denotes an opening provided in the side wall of the heat storage section 2 corresponding to the mounting section of the temperature detection sensor 6, and the cover 3 made of synthetic resin is inserted into the opening 10 with a plurality of screws 11. Can be attached and detached. Reference numeral 12 denotes a ring-shaped waterproof gasket that is fitted onto the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion 13 that projects inside the cover 3. When the cover 3 is attached to the opening 10, the waterproof gasket 12 comes into close contact with the side wall of the heat storage section 2. , rainwater is prevented from entering the inside of the heat storage section 2. 14 is the cylindrical part 14 of the cover 3
As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. It is attached by 15. 1
Reference numeral 6 denotes a lead wire from a display device (not shown) installed indoors, etc. As shown in FIG. The crimp terminal 16a provided at the end is attached to the connection terminal portion 14 of the cover 3 with a screw 15.

In the above configuration, the lead wire 9 of the temperature detection sensor 6 and the lead wire 1 from the display (not shown)
6, the lead wire 9 of the temperature detection sensor 6 should be attached to the connection terminal section 14 of the cover 3 with screws 15 before installing the solar water heater on the roof. After installing the cover 3 on the roof, the cover 3 is removed from the heat storage section 2, and the lead wire 16 from the display (not shown) is connected to the connection terminal section 14 of the cover 3. In this case, the cover 3 is Even if you take your hands off the cover 3 after removing it from the heat storage section 2, the connection terminal section 14 of the cover 3
Since the lead wire 9 of the temperature detection sensor 6 is attached to the cover 3, the cover 3 will not fall down by mistake. Further, the connection of the lead wire 16 from the display device (not shown) can be easily performed by loosening the screw 15 of the connection terminal portion 14 of the cover 3 and then tightening it again. In this case, since the lead wires 9 and 16 are connected to the connection terminal portion 14 by crimp terminal connection using the screws 15, there is no contact failure.
The cover 3 also prevents rainwater from flowing into the connection terminal section 14.
Since the waterproof gasket 12 is in close contact with the side wall of the heat storage section 2, this can be completely prevented.

As described above, according to the present invention, a cover that closes an opening provided on the side wall of a heat storage section corresponding to a temperature detection sensor is provided with a lead wire of a temperature detection sensor and a display device installed indoors, etc. Since a connection terminal section is provided to connect the lead wire, the lead wire of the temperature detection sensor can be attached to the connection terminal section of the cover before installing the solar water heater on the roof. As a result, after installing the solar water heater on the roof, the cover would accidentally fall down even if the cover was removed and released in order to attach the lead wire from the display to the connection terminal section. That will no longer be the case. In addition, the work to connect the lead wires on the roof simply involves removing the cover and attaching the lead wires from the display to the connection terminals on the cover, so the work efficiency is much improved compared to conventional methods. The inflow of rainwater into the connection terminal area is
Since the waterproof gasket provided on the cover is in close contact with the side wall of the heat storage section, this can be completely prevented, and as a result, there is no problem of poor insulation.
