となり、而もスピンドルに作用する切削推力が片
持梁式に突出しているスピンドルヘツドCに作用
するので機柱B′の工作物台寄り根本に作用する反
力が大きく、機柱B′、筐型状機台b′を勢い大型に
しないと高精度が得られず、重量も大きくなり、
機柱B′が大きくなると機柱B′をY軸方向に移動さ
せる装置も頑丈なものが要求され、又Y軸方向の
摺動面がスピンドルヘツドの下端より下方にある
ため該摺動面の切粉対策が必要となる等の欠点が
あつた。

欠部5を有する摺動台6をY軸方向に摺動自在に
設け、該摺動台6の前記切欠部5内にドリル等の
スピンドルヘツドCを昇降自在に嵌合保持させ、
該摺動台6上に設けたモーターcにより該スピン
ドルヘツドCを昇降できるようし、該ヨーク状の
切欠部5の両側の袖部6′,6′の端面には補強体
7を固定し、前記筐型機台b1の空室3内には交換
用工具を回動盤に放射状方向に出入できるように
設けた交換用工具収納装置を収蔵できるようにし
たものである。
