Fishing strings are used in which a polyurethane resin coating is formed around the outer periphery of a core material with high tensile strength made of twisted strands. This fishing string has various excellent properties such as tensile strength, elongation, abrasion resistance, flexibility, and surface slipperiness, but conventional fishing strings are made by twisting polyamide threads in one direction. Therefore, when tension is applied to this fishing line, there is a drawback that rotational force is generated at the end of the fishing line. This is undesirable when actually catching a fish, as the hooked fish is thrown around in the sea until it is pulled up, causing it to come loose or be damaged. For example, with a polyamide fishing line that is 1000 denier x 2 strands x 4 strands,
In the case of a product not coated with polyurethane resin, when a load of 2.5 kg is suspended, 8.5 rotations occur per 1 m, and this is coated with polyurethane resin. A rotation of 1 rotation occurred per 1 m. This is because when a load is suspended on a thread, the thread rotates in the direction in which its twist returns.

Note that the twist reversal portion may be hardened with glue to ensure that the direction of each twist is maintained. A polyurethane resin coating 3 is formed on the outer periphery of the core material 1 in sufficient adhesion to the core material 1.

In particular, in the case of twisted thread, if you use the same number of two types of threads, one with S twist and one with Z twist, the rotational force when tension is applied to the resulting fishing string will be balanced. hand,
This is more preferred because it does not cause rotation. Also,
This is more preferred because it does not cause twisting.
Further, it is desirable that the interval at which the direction of twist changes is sufficiently shorter than the length of one yarn actually used, and that the twist pitch is sufficient to maintain a circular cross section of the resulting fishing line.

Since the fishing line is turned back, these rotations cancel each other out, and the fishing line as a whole hardly rotates at all. In addition, since the outer periphery is closely coated with polyurethane resin, even if tension is applied to the fishing line, the reversed part of the twist will be kept in an inverted state by the polyurethane resin.
The direction of each S twist and Z twist is maintained. In addition, unlike those twisted in one direction, the direction of twist changes alternately, so it can be twisted in tandem with the extruded polyurethane material that covers the polyurethane resin, increasing manufacturing efficiency. When using filaments that are not twisted, the process of twisting yarn in one direction is eliminated, and various practical effects are achieved, such as manufacturing at a lower cost. Furthermore, by coating the outer periphery of the core material with polyurethane resin, the core material is protected.
