That is, the present invention provides <1) a fiber rope in which a core fiber layer is provided with a covering layer of braided fibers; (2) A rope for yachting according to claim (1), wherein the core fiber layer is a fully aromatic polyamide fiber (3) The fully aromatic polyamide fiber is coated with a resin. The yacht rope (4) according to claim 2, wherein the core fiber layer is made of polyester long fiber twisted yarn.
The rope for yachting according to claim 1) (5) The core fiber layer is made of polyester long fiber non-twisted yarn. A rope for yachting (7) according to claim (1), comprising a middle layer made of braided aromatic polyamide fibers, and an outermost layer made of braided polyester Taslan thread in the middle layer. The core layer of the thick part is composed of polyester long fiber yarn and wholly aromatic polyamide fiber, the core layer of the thin part is composed of wholly aromatic polyamide fiber, and each layer is made of polyester taslan. A yachting rope according to claim (1), which comprises an outermost layer of braided processed yarn. The yachting rope of the present invention is composed of two or more layers. At least one layer of the rope contains wholly aromatic polyamide fibers. The layer containing wholly aromatic polyamide fibers may be a core layer or an intermediate layer between the core layer and the outermost layer. The outermost layer is made of polyester taslan textured yarn. Polyester taslan processed yarn is a so-called 2-feed taslan processed yarn, in which a relatively thick denier polyester yarn is used as the core yarn, and a polyester yarn with a finer denier than the core yarn is used as the covering yarn (covering yarn). . The covering system is wound around the core yarn to form a large number of fine loops.

In this case, the polyester long fiber yarn may be a twisted yarn or a non-twisted yarn. Further, in the case of a yachting rope, a fiber rope having a thick portion and a thin portion is sometimes used, and in the present invention, it is preferable that the yachting rope having such a shape is constructed as follows. That is, the core fiber layer in the thick part is composed of wholly aromatic polyamide fibers and polyester long fibers, the core fiber layer in the thin part is composed of the same wholly aromatic polyamide fiber, and the outermost layer of each is made of polyester Taslan processed yarn. A fiber layer is provided by braiding the fibers.
