Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit brazing in atmosphere and to prevent the exfoliation between a core material and outside material as the brazing strength is extremely high by using Ti or Ti alloy as a core material, cladding a Cu-Ni alloy as an intermediate layer thereon and cladding a corrosion resistant material on the outside. CONSTITUTION:The Ti or Ti alloy is used as the core material 1 and the Cu-Ni alloy is clad as the intermediate layer 7 on the outside. The material 2 such as Ni-Cu alloy, gold alloy or silver alloy having good corrosion resistance and excellent brazing property is clad to the outside of said layer 7. The brazing in atm. is thus made possible with excellent workability; in addition, the brazing strength is extremely high and the exfoliation between the core material and the outside material is obviated. このような要望に応えようとする眼鏡フレーム用素材と
して、最近Ti又はTi合金が使用されている。

しかしTi又はTi合金は、ろう付性が悪く、強い強度
を持たせる為には、高真空中或いは特殊な雰囲気の下で
ろう付を行う必要があり、この点での改善が望まれてい

す如<Agろう、 Auろう等のろう材5を用いて60
0〜900℃大気中でろう付すると、芯材1と外側の材
料2との界面に非常に脆い金属間化合物6が生成される
ので、ろう付後この金属間化合物6の層から剥離すると
いう致命的な欠点があった。

好なろう付が得られる。

用いて830℃大気中でろう付してテストピースを得た

眼鏡フレーム用複合素材としては画期的なものと云える
