This plate material 4 is heated at 600°C using a brazing material 5 such as Ag wax or Au wax as shown in Fig. 4.
When brazing in air at ~900°C, extremely brittle metal open compounds 6 such as Ti-Ni and Ti-Au are generated at the interface between the core material 1 and the outer material 2. It had a fatal drawback of peeling off from the layer of compound 6.

Ti or Ti alloy is used as the core material 1, and Ni is placed on the outside of this.
2.5 to 50% by weight and one or both of Sn and Al 0
.. A Cu alloy containing 01 to 10% by weight is clad as an intermediate layer, and a material 2 having good corrosion resistance and excellent brazing properties, such as Ni-Cr alloy, N1-C, is coated on the outside of this intermediate layer.
It is clad with any one of U alloy, Au alloy, Ag alloy, stainless steel, etc.

Ni共晶に比し脆いため剥離が住するからである。The reason for using the Cu-Ni alloy as the intermediate layer here is that Ti and the Cu-Ni alloy undergo interdiffusion during hot extrusion and strain relief annealing to form a Ti-Cu-Ni eutectic structure.
This is because it strengthens the bond. The reason why Ni is limited to 2.5 to 50% by weight is that if it is less than 2.5% by weight, Cu will bond preferentially and only a Cu-Ti layer will be formed, and if it exceeds 50% by weight, only a Ni-Ti layer will be formed. and these are Ti-Cu-
This is because it is more brittle than Ni eutectic, so it tends to peel off.

i and Sn or Al combine preferentially over Cu-Ti,
This is because a solid solution of Sn-Ti or Al-Ti is formed, and these alloys are not brittle even when grown. Sn,A
The reason why the amount of one or both types of l is set to 0.01 to 10% by weight is because if it is less than 0.01% by weight, there is no effect, and if it exceeds 10% by weight, it becomes difficult to process.

In addition, in the test piece of the conventional example, the joint surface between the core material 1 and the outer material 2 was a fracture surface, whereas in the test piece of the example, the base material was a fracture surface, and the joint surface between the core material 1 and the outer material 2 was a fracture surface. It can be seen that the bonding strength is high.
