また前述したように、結束装置15の間欠作動に
よる束放出杆23の間欠的な放出回動により羽根
48,49,50,51が間欠的に90度宛、回動
せしめられることから、第4図でみて、羽根4
9,50間に位置する穀稈束は羽根49に押され
て束収納部43の拡開前端部43a内へ、また羽
根50,51間に位置する穀稈束は羽根50に押
されて束収納部43内におけるシヤツター40設
置部位置へと、立姿のままで送込まれる。このよ

送込まれることから、該束収納部43内では、先
に送込まれた穀稈束が後続する穀稈束に押され
て、前記圧縮ばね46力に抗して束押圧体42を

つ、該束収納部43内の後方位置へと移動して行
き、束収納部43に複数穀稈束が、機体前後方向
に沿い直列して立姿で、図示の場合には圧縮ばね
46作用でシヤツター40と束押圧体42間で弾
性的に挾持されて、収集されるのである。
