For this reason, in actual automobiles, an engine mounting bracket is integrally provided at the bottom of the engine, and an insulator made of rubber or the like is installed between this engine mounting bracket and a bracket on the vehicle body side (for example, a suspension member bracket). The engine is suspended via a simulator.

The engine mounting bracket is made of a material sufficient to maintain sufficient rigidity, and as a result, the engine mounting bracket sometimes resonates with the vibrations of the engine, causing noise inside the vehicle. Conventionally, countermeasures to this problem were to increase the thickness of the plates that make up the engine mounting bracket or to use a backing plate, but when the resonance of the bracket becomes high frequency, such methods In this case, the resonant frequency did not change even though the weight of the vehicle increased, and a sufficient solution could not be obtained.

ーである。 This idea was made in view of this point. An embodiment of this invention will be described with reference to FIG. 1. Reference numeral 1 denotes an engine, and engine mounting brackets 2 are integrally provided on both sides of the lower part of the engine. The engine mounting bracket 2 is connected to a bracket 3 provided on the vehicle body side opposite to the engine mounting bracket 2 through an insulator 4 made of a rubber material or the like by a bolt (not shown). The bracket 3 is fixed to a suspension member (not shown) or the like. engine 1

A reinforcing member 5 is attached between the engine mounting bracket 2 and the engine mounting bracket 2. The reinforcing material 5 may be a pipe, a round bar, or an iron plate. This reinforcing material 5 significantly increases the rigidity of the engine mounting bracket 2, and as a result, the resonance frequency of the engine mounting bracket 2 becomes sufficiently high so that no indoor noise is generated. 7 is a carburetor, and 8 is an air cleaner.

In addition to the engine mounting bracket 2, the rigidity of the intake manifold 6 can also be increased.
Since they are coupled together, the plane vibrations of both are canceled out, and there is also the great effect that vibrations are not transmitted to the bracket 3.

This figure shows data for the front seats in a car at full acceleration with the throttle valve fully open; the solid line is for the same car without reinforcement, and the broken line is for after reinforcement. From this figure, it can be seen that the effect of this device is large.

Although the reinforcing material 5 is shown as being provided only on one side of the engine 1, it is actually preferable to provide it on both sides of the engine 1. In the case of this embodiment, a reinforcing member 5 is provided between the exhaust manifold and the engine mounting bracket 2 on the opposite side.

ある。 Since this invention is constructed as described above, the engine mounting bracket can be effectively reinforced with a simple structure, and the resonance frequency is significantly changed, which has the advantage of significantly reducing vehicle interior noise. Additionally, the rigidity of the manifold can be increased, and this can be done without increasing weight or cost.
