後方に配設したことと相俟つて、ガラスの視界が
広くなると共にガラス2の表面との段差が極めて
小さくなり空気抵抗が減少し、2ドアの車両の窓
の如く別のガラスが隣接している場合も隙間はガ
ラス挾着部1aと隣接するガラスの側縁との間の
の1ケ所であるので在来に比べ空気抵抗は少い。
またランチヤンネル3の開口部はリテーナー1の
ガラス挾着部1aの後方に配設され、而も内方に
向いて居り、外部より内部に至る摺動部に於いて
外部り内部に至る径路が長く、又、曲折している
為、塵埃、雨水、洗車水等に対する気密性、水密
性が向上するという実用上の効果がある。
