However, in such dehumidifiers, air always passes through the heater part during dehumidification operation, so the air volume decreases due to wind damage in the heater part, which reduces the dehumidification capacity of the evaporator and significantly reduces dehumidification efficiency. In addition to this, the air outlet and heater installation path must be made wide to minimize the decline in dehumidification capacity, resulting in poor air velocity distribution in the heater during drying operation, resulting in a large amount of heat leakage. The drawback was that high airflow could not be achieved due to the large amount of air flow. Even during dehumidification operation, dust and the like would adhere to the heater, posing a safety problem for the heater.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. 9 is a dehumidifier box body, and a suction port 9a is provided at the upper part of the front surface. 10 is a compressor, and a dew pan 2
It is placed in the space below 4. 11 is a cooler;
12 is a reheater, which is arranged in order from the suction port 9a. The compressor 10, cooler 11, reheater 12, etc. are connected to form a refrigeration cycle. 13 is a fan motor, and 14 is a single suction type centrifugal fan, which is directly connected to the fan motor 13. The fan 14 is arranged to suck air from the front and blow air upward. Reference numeral 15 denotes a blowing passage of the fan 14, which is branched into a dehumidifying blowing passage 15a and a drying blowing passage 15b. 16 is a dedicated dehumidifying outlet, and the dehumidifying outlet passage 15
a, and is provided on the upper surface of the box body 9. 1
7 is a drying outlet, which is similar to the dehumidifying outlet 16.
The drying blowout passage 1 is configured with a smaller opening area than the drying blowout passage 1.
5b, and is provided at the upper part of the back surface of the box body 9. Reference numeral 18 denotes a heater, which is arranged within the drying blowout passage 15b. Reference numeral 19 denotes a dehumidifying/drying switching cover, which is attached so as to alternately open and close the air outlets 16 and 17 by changing its position. A drying attachment 20 is detachably attached to the drying outlet 17. 21 is a fan casing core plate, 21
A is a front plate of the fan casing, and 22 is a drying duct, which form a dehumidifying blow-off passage 15a and a drying blow-off passage 15b. In addition, during dehumidification operation that requires a large air volume, the dehumidifying air outlet 16 is arranged opposite to the direct air blowing direction of the centrifugal fan 14, that is, in the radial direction, so that windage loss is reduced.
It can be performed more efficiently than dehumidification operation. on the other hand,
The drying outlet 17 for drying furniture, which requires high-temperature, small-volume airflow, is provided along the axial direction of the centrifugal fan 14, and the dehumidifying passage 15a acts as a pressure chamber to equalize the pressure inside the passage, and its opening area also increases. Because it is small, when drying furniture such as futons, high-temperature, high-pressure air with uniform temperature distribution is sent out.

When dehumidifying operation is to be performed, the dehumidifying/drying switching cover 19 is placed on the drying outlet 17 to close it, and the dehumidifying outlet 16 is opened.
The centrifugal fan 14 and the refrigeration cycle are operated.
As a result, indoor air is supplied to the box body 9 from the suction port 9a.
After being dehumidified and cooled by the evaporator 11, it is returned to the original temperature by the reheater 12,
From the centrifugal fan 14 through the dehumidifying blowout passage 15a,
The air is blown into the room from the dehumidifying outlet 16, and desired dehumidification is performed. In this case, the indoor air does not pass through the heater 18, so no windage loss occurs in the heater portion. As a result, a sufficient air volume can be secured during dehumidification operation, so the dehumidification capacity of the evaporator 11 is increased, and the dehumidification efficiency can be greatly improved, and since dust etc. do not adhere to the heater 18, the safety of the heater 18 is improved. can be improved.

In addition, in the case of drying operation, the dehumidification/drying switching cover 19 is disposed on the dehumidification-only air outlet 16 to close it, the dehumidification-only air outlet 17 is opened, and the centrifugal fan 14 is operated. As a result, indoor air is sucked into the box body 9 through the suction port 9a, the pressure is equalized in the dehumidifying passage 15a having a large volume from the centrifugal fan 14, and the air reaches the drying passage 15b.
After being heated at step 8, it is blown out from the drying outlet 17 through the drying attachment 20 to perform desired drying. In this case, since the drying outlet 17 has a smaller opening area than the dehumidifying outlet 16, a high temperature can be easily obtained.
Since the heater 18 is arranged in the drying passage 15b, which has a small cross-sectional area and communicates with the drying outlet 17, it reduces excess air heating in the dehumidifying passage 15a and heat leaking to the outside from the dehumidifying passage, thereby efficiently drying. Uniform high-temperature air can be obtained and drying efficiency can be improved. In addition, if the refrigeration cycle is operated at the same time, more powerful drying can be performed. In addition, since the switching cover 19 is moved at the air outlet portion during operation switching, there is no need to provide a complicated rotary damper or the like in the middle of the ventilation path, and the structure can be realized with a simple structure.

According to the present invention, since indoor air does not pass through the heater 18 during dehumidification operation, there is no windage loss in the heater 18 portion, and a sufficient amount of air can be ensured. This increases the dehumidifying capacity of the evaporator 11 and greatly improves the dehumidifying efficiency. In addition, regarding the drying operation, an independent small cross-sectional area drying blowing passage 15b
and a drying-only air outlet 17 with a small opening area.
Since the heater 18 is arranged in the drying outlet passage 15b, the air in the dehumidifying outlet passage 15a is not heated unnecessarily, and the air velocity distribution in the heater section is also good, so a uniform high temperature and small air volume can be easily obtained. Highly efficient drying operation is possible.

Regarding safety, the amount of dust adhering to the heater 18 is extremely reduced, and the heater 18 can be installed in a narrow space, making it possible to securely install the heater 18 and improve safety. In addition, since switching is possible using a cover over the air outlet, the structure is simple and has practical effects.
