Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of heating elements and a protective layer due to high-tension discharge by exposing and arranging a grounding electrode near a large number of the heating elements disposed to a row shape and grounding the electrode to a ground electrically connected in common with the heating elements. ヘッド5を用いた感熱記録装置の一例である転写型感熱
記録装置の基本構成は、サーマルプリントヘッド5と対
向に配置されたプラテンローラ6の間に熱溶融性インク
を片面に塗布したインクフィルム7と被転写記録紙8と
を密着、加圧し、印字信号に対応して前記発熱素子2を
通電発熱させ前記インクフィルム7の熱溶融性インクを
融解し前記被転写記録紙8に転写し印字を行うものであ
る。

で、放電が起り、前記保護層4にクラックを生じたり、
前記発熱素子゛2が焼損し、その部分が印字不可能とな
るという重大な欠点を生じることがあった。

10とセラミック基板10間には熱伝導性を向上させる
為にシリコングリース13を充填しである。前記接地電
極12はサーマルプリントヘッド自身のGND線14を
介して装置のフレームグランドに接続されるように構成
されている。
