従来、上述の如き装飾品材料としては白金−パラジウム
(5〜15重量%)合金が多用されている。然し乍ら白
金−パラジウム合金は加工性に優れているが、機械的強
さ特に硬さが低い為研摩中にすり傷、押傷が付き易く且
つ光沢が出にくく、また完成品として使用しているとき
も傷が付き易く、殊に宝石付指輪の場合には、宝石を止
めている部分がゆるんで宝石が脱落するという欠点があ

(発明の構成)
本発明による装飾品用白金合金は、白金84〜96重量

本発明による装飾品用白金合金に於いて、銅を添加した
理由は、機械的強さの向上及び鋳造時の巣の発生を抑制
する為であり、その添加量を1〜15重景%重量たのは

生を抑制するに十分でなく、15重量%を超えると溶解
持場面に銅酸化物の発生量が多くなり、鋳造時その酸化
