One embodiment of this will be explained below based on an illustrative diagram. Reference numerals 1 and 2 are columns erected between the upper and lower frames 3 and 4 at appropriate intervals in the running direction. A carriage 5 is provided so as to be movable up and down. 6 and 7 are carriage guide rails attached to the columns 1 and 2; 8 is a carriage hanging wire operated by the lifting drive means 9;
10 is a counterweight. Reference numeral 11 denotes a traveling drive means provided at one end of the lower frame 4, and a pair of front and rear wheels 13, 14 that ride on the floor rail 12.
drive one of the two. 15 and 16 are steady rest rollers that sandwich the floor rail 12 from left and right;
7 and 18 are steady rest rollers that sandwich the ceiling rail 19 from the left and right sides. A vertical through hole 20 for an operator to pass through is provided at the central position of the carriage 5 in the longitudinal direction of travel, and a lifting ladder is installed between the upper and lower frames 3 and 4 so as to vertically pass through the position near one side of the through hole 20. 21 is installed vertically. Further, two load transfer means 22 to 25 are installed on the carriage 5 on both the front and rear sides of the ladder 21.
is installed. This cargo delivery means 22, 2
The spacing d between 3 and 24 and 25 corresponds to the running direction of the stacker crane of each load receiving section 28, which is set to face each other on the shelves 26 and 27 that are erected to sandwich the running path of the stacker crane. The distance D between the adjacent cargo transfer means 23 and 24 with the ladder 21 in between is equal to the pitch P of the ladder 21.
is equal to twice the receiving part pitch P.

The load transfer means 22 to 25 shown in FIG. 3 consist of a lateral moving roller conveyor 30 that can approach and leave the front edge of the load receiving section 28 consisting of a flat shelf board 29. As shown in FIG.
It may also be of a forklift type, consisting of a cargo receiving platform 32 that enters between the cargo receiving bars 31 and moves up and down together with the carriage 5.

Further, instead of providing the through hole 20, a recessed portion may be provided on the side of the elevating carriage 5, and the elevating ladder 21 may be installed so as to pass through the side recessed portion.

Note that workbenches 33 to 36 that can be used for maintenance and inspection are provided outside the pillars 1 and 2, and ladders 37 to 40 are installed on the pillars 1 and 36 for workers to climb up and down from these workbenches and the aisle ceiling. , 2 are constructed on the outside.

The method of using the stacker crane configured as described above is basically the same as that of conventional stacker cranes of this type, but the difference is that it does not return to the home position after each load transfer operation. In both cases, a plurality of load transfer means 22 to 25 can be used simultaneously or sequentially to transfer loads to a plurality of load receiving sections 28 of shelves 26 and 27 simultaneously or sequentially. It is desirable that a plurality of cargo receiving stands are arranged in parallel at the home position so that all the cargo receiving means 22 to 25 can handle the cargo at the same time.

As shown in the above embodiment, the stacker crane of the present invention is provided with a plurality of load transfer means on the carriage, so that it can be lifted and lowered between the upper and lower frames so as to be located in the middle of the wide carriage. Since the utility ladder has been erected, workers cannot access the carriage through the narrow space between the support and the shelf, or bypass the shelf, unlike when a ladder is attached to the outside of the support as in the past. This eliminates the need to climb onto the carriage and move directly from the ladder onto the carriage, greatly increasing the safety of maintenance and inspection work.

Moreover, according to the configuration of the present invention, the elevating carriage is provided with a vertical through hole or a side recess for the worker to pass through, through which the elevating ladder passes, and a side recess is provided on each of the left and right sides of the through hole or the side recess. A load transfer means is provided, and the distance between two adjacent load transfer means sandwiching the through hole or the side recess is twice the pitch in the crane running direction of the load receiving section on the shelf side, so that the height of the elevating carriage While ensuring a passage for workers to ascend and descend using a ladder between the two cargo handling means, two
It is possible to simultaneously operate the two cargo receiving means and carry out loading/unloading operations to two cargo receiving sections on the shelf side at the same time. In other words, it is possible to secure a sufficient space between the two cargo transfer means on the elevating carriage so that the worker can move up and down the ladder easily and safely.

尚、キヤレツジ上には、はしごの両側において
夫々1つの荷受け渡し手段を設けても良い。
Incidentally, one load transfer means may be provided on each side of the ladder on the carriage.
