Means for Solving the Problems Therefore, this invention is such that the rear part of the seat frame 1 made of metal pipe, which is substantially rectangular in plan view, and the lower part of the backrest frame 2 are in line contact with each other. To,
The rear portions of the left and right frame portions 1a, 1a of the seat frame 1 are bent diagonally downward, and the lower portions of the left and right frame portions 2a, 2a of the backrest frame 2 are bent diagonally rearward in a corresponding shape. Band-shaped metal connecting stays 3 and 4 are welded and fixed to corresponding positions at the rear of the frame 1 and the lower part of the backrest frame 2, respectively, and these stays 3, 4, 13, and 14 are connected to each other by fastening bolts 5. The gist of this invention is a seat frame for a chair, characterized in that the seat frame 1 and the backrest frame 2 are integrally connected by being fastened together.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a seat frame made of metal pipe bent into a substantially rectangular shape when viewed from above, and left and right side frame parts 1
Both the front and rear ends of a and 1a are gently inclined diagonally downward. Reference numeral 2 designates a backrest frame 2 made of a metal pipe which is also curved into a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, and the upper and lower ends of the left and right side frame portions 2a, 2a are also gently sloped diagonally rearward. There is. Therefore, the rear part of the seat frame 1 and the lower part of the backrest frame 2 are defined by their horizontal horizontal rod parts 1b, 2b and the side frame part 1.
A and a part of 2a are formed in corresponding shapes so that they can be brought into line contact with each other. Therefore, at both rear end corners of the seat frame 1 and at both lower end corners of the backrest frame 2, at positions corresponding to each other,
Those horizontal horizontal rod parts 1b, 2b and each side frame part 1a,
Thin strip-shaped metal connecting stays 3 and 4 are welded and fixed diagonally between the main body 2a and the main body 2a. Reference numeral 5 denotes a fastening bolt that fastens these connecting stays 3 and 4 to each other, and is screwed from the through hole 6 of one stay 3 into the female threaded hole 7 of the other stay 4 to connect the seat frame 1 and the backrest frame. 2 are integrally combined.

FIG. 4 shows a modification of the mounting manner of the connecting stay.
14 are fixed to the rear part of the seat frame 1 and the lower part of the backrest frame 2, respectively, by welding the lower edge and left and right side edges to the horizontal horizontal rod parts 1b, 2b and each side frame part 1a, 2a, respectively. It is something that As in the previous embodiment, the seat frame 1 and the backrest frame 2 are connected by fastening these stays 13 and 14 with the fastening bolts 5.

Effects of the invention This invention allows the seat frame 1 and the backrest frame 2 to be molded separately and assembled together as described above, compared to conventional products in which the seat frame and the backrest frame are manufactured in series. In addition to being easy to bend and form, the edges of both the seat frame 1 and the backrest frame 2 are slightly bent, so they cannot be individually assembled before the assembly process. Since both can be handled as relatively small and flat objects, they are convenient for storage and other handling, and are advantageous in terms of production control.
Furthermore, by preparing a plurality of types of chairs with different shapes for both frames, and by arbitrarily selecting a combination of them, chairs with various shapes of the seat and/or backrest can be created. It can be easily manufactured and can be easily applied to the request to provide a wide variety of chairs with some common components. Further, the seat frame 1 and the backrest frame 2 are connected by fastening strip-shaped metal connecting stays 3, 4, 13, and 14 welded to corresponding positions, respectively, with fastening bolts 5. This not only makes this work easier, but compared to the case where the pipes of both frames are directly connected with bolts,
The joint state can be stabilized, and with the help of the leaf spring effect of the band-shaped connecting stays 3, 4, 13, and 14, the bolts 5 will not loosen even over a long period of time, and the backrest frame 2 can be stabilized. is placed and fixed so that its lower end bent diagonally backward is in line contact with the rear end bent diagonally downward of the seat frame 1. Coupled with the ability to reliably absorb loads in the rotational direction, the connection between the two becomes extremely strong.
A strong frame body can be formed with relatively few fixing points.

Furthermore, the exterior material covering is also applied to the seat frame 1 and the backrest frame 2.
Since it is possible to perform both separately and then join them together, this work is easier than applying lining to a three-dimensional frame. The lashing area is hidden and cannot be seen from the outside, and it can be made to have no inferiority in terms of appearance.
