Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a rapid-drying pack cosmetic having high viscosity, by adding a component selected from xanthan gum, scleroglucan and aureotium to a pack composed of polyvinyl alcohol, a resin latex emulsion, water, a humectant and powder. CONSTITUTION:The objective pack cosmetic can be produced by compounding (A) a pack containing a polyvinyl alcohol, a resin latex emulsion, water, a humectant and powder as essential components with (B) xanthan gum [polysaccharide produced by Xanthamonas (a phytopathogenic bacterium)], scleroglucan [polysaccharide produced by Sclerotium which is produced by Chilferry, USA) or aureotium (polysaccharide produced by Aureotium). The amount of the component B is preferably 0.05-5wt% based on the whole pack cosmetic. In spite of high viscosity, the pack cosmetic has excellent spreadability, gives well- finished skin and is peelable easily.

声を数多く聞く。この為には、速乾性という機能をバッ
ク化粧料に持たせる必要があるため、沢山の研究者が、
この問題に取り組んで来た。例えば、ポリビニルアルコ
ール、樹脂ラテックスエマルジョン、粉末等を増量すれ
ば、速乾性は増すが、しかし、一般に乾燥性が高まる性
質を持つ成分には使用特性、安定性等の面から配合限界
があるため、仲々20分以内で速乾する使用性の良いパ
ックは末だ開発されていないのが現状である。

レログルカン又はアウレロチュウムを配合することによ
り、粘度が高いにもかかわらず伸びが良く、かつ速乾性
に優れ、しかもパック化粧料としての特性を兼備してい
るバック化粧料が得られることを見い出し、この知見に
基づいて本発明を完成するに至った。

ガム、スクレログルカン又はアウレロチュウムの配合量
には特に限定はないが、好ましくは、全パック化粧料重
量当り0.05〜5重量%配合され、更に好ましくは使
用性及び安定性の一層の改良の面から0、1〜2重量%
配合される。これらの配合量が少な過ぎると所望の高粘
度、速乾性の改良効果が十分でなくなる傾向にあり、逆
に多過ぎると溶解するのが難しくなる。ザンサンガム、
スクレログルカン及びアウレロチュウムは市販品を使用
することができ、例えばザンサンガムとしてはケルトロ
ール(香栄工業)を好適に使用することができ、又アウ
レロチュウムとしては、アメリカケルコ社製のザンフロ
ー及びザンコート等を挙げることができる。

した。従来、乾燥速度を速めるためには、高分子量や粉
末量の多い系に持っていかなければならなかったが、そ
の場合にはどうしても高粘度となって塗布がし難くなり
、更に仕上りも悪く、安定性も著しく悪くなる背反現象
がつきものであった。これに対し、本発明に従って、パ
ック化粧料にザンサンガム等を添加することにより、パ
ック化粧料の粘度は高まるが、反対に塗布し易くなり、
仕上りも良くなる機能性のある、速乾性パック化粧料が
得られることが確認された。
