Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the external appearance of a lamp attaching structure in a vehicle bumper and at making the lens section of a lamp thin and lightweight, by fastening a pair of attaching pieces projected from the rear section of the lamp to a support section formed in the opening section of a bumper face 3 at the back surface side of the latter with the use of screws. CONSTITUTION:A front bumper is composed of a bumper reinforce 2 and a synthetic resin bumper face 3 covering the former, and lamp attaching openings 4, 5 are formed in the above-mentioned members 2, 3, respectively, being aligned with each other. In this arrangement, the peripheral edge of the opening section 4 is bent inward to form a lamp support section 6. A metal bracket 7 is secured to the front end section of a side wall outside of a vehicle, and the front end section is bent outward to form a lamp support section 9. Meanwhile, attaching pieces 15, 16 are projected from a lamp 11 at both sides of spherical sections 12 thereof. ら挿入し九コンビネーションランプ24を、その周縁を
貫通した取付ビス25によって上記フランジ部詔に固定
している(例えば日量自動m(株)昭和団年9月発行「
サービス同報第489号」■−8頁参照)り 発明が解決しようとする問題点 しかし、上記のような従来のランプ取付構造にあっては
、取付ビス25がバンパフェース21 o 表面に露出
してしまい極めて外観見栄えが悪い口しかも、コンビネ
ーションランプ24のレンズ部周縁を取付ヒスが貫通す
るので、レンズ部を薄くすることができず、重量が嵩む
という欠点がある。

ンプ支持部に沿うように傾斜した一対の取付片を突設し
、この取付片をバンパフェース裏面側から上記ランプ支
持部にねじ止め固定したことを特徴とする車両用バンパ
のランプ取付構造。
