Conventionally, in order to improve the cold protection and heat retention of boots, laminates or laminates have been used in which a nonwoven fabric, cotton, feather, rubber, or urethane foam layer, which is a poor conductor of heat, is bonded between the outer fabric, such as poplin, and the lining fabric. The material used is a raised fabric or knitted fabric for the lining itself. When using these materials, a quilting process is applied to partially stitch the layers that make up the laminate. Therefore, boots made with conventional quilted laminate have a non-rubber surface layer, and the quilted seams penetrate the laminate, allowing water to seep into the interior, making them less waterproof. has its drawbacks.

The second invention of the present invention is to bond a lining fabric, a cold protection material with heat retention and cushioning properties, and an outer fabric to each other, and then apply a quilting process to partially sew them together, and then attach the inner fabric to the outer fabric. The trunk of the boot is made of a rubber laminate with a quilted pattern, which is manufactured by bonding an unvulcanized rubber sheet to the rubber sheet and pressing it together between rubber rolls to make quilting. The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing rubber boots with quilted patterns manufactured by sulfurization.

The present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a lining layer 4 consisting of a lining fabric 1, a cold protection material 2 with heat retention and cushioning properties, and an outer fabric 3, on which a quilting pattern 5 is applied, for example, by sewing machine stitching. In FIG. 6, a rubber layer 6 is bonded to the lining layer 4, and the quilting pattern 7 of the rubber layer 6 is arranged in the same manner as the quilting pattern 5 of the lining layer 4.

(a) Lining layer 4 is formed by bonding lining fabric 1, cold protection material 2 with heat retention and cushioning properties, and outer fabric 3 to each other.
(b) After further performing the quilting process 5 to partially sew them together, (c) adhering an unvulcanized rubber sheet to the outer fabric 1 side of the lining layer 4, (d) then (e) Transferring the quilting machine stitches to the rubber sheet by pressing the entire piece together between rubber rolls to form a quilting pattern 7 having the same arrangement as the quilting pattern 5 on the outer fabric 1 on the rubber sheet, and (e) The quilted rubber laminate thus produced constitutes the boot body and is molded and vulcanized in a conventional manner to produce a rubber boot.

In the process of manufacturing the rubber boots of the present invention, the rubber boots are manufactured by utilizing the plasticity and adhesive properties of the rubber before vulcanization to firmly adhere the joints of the rubber, and then vulcanizing the rubber. Therefore, the rubber boots of the present invention are waterproof and have elasticity and flexibility unique to rubber. Furthermore, since rubber has a lower glass transition point than plastic and is a poor conductor of heat, the rubber boots of the present invention have excellent heat retention and cold protection.

Example: French pile fabric is used as the lining fabric, urethane foam is used as the cold protection material, and knitted fabric is used as the outer fabric. These three materials are pasted together, quilted, and partially sewn, and then an unvulcanized rubber sheet is used as the outer fabric. A rubber laminate with a quilted pattern was produced by adhering and pressing the whole thing between rubber rolls. This laminate was cut into the shape of a boot body and attached to the spine, and the bonded seams were sealed by overlapping unvulcanized rubber sheets. This cylindrical body was placed over the last and a boot was formed using a conventional method. After painting,
Rubber boots with quilted patterns were manufactured by vulcanization.
