The applicant previously filed Japanese Patent Application No. 55-147043 (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 57
-147043) provides a tank liquid temperature measuring device. In one embodiment of the device, as shown in FIG. 1, a thermometer body 22 is provided on a floating roof 21,
A fully flexible protection tube connected to the thermometer body is held in collapsible drain pipes 24 and 25 with clamp fittings 26, and a plurality of measuring elements are connected in series with lead wires 27 inside the first protection tube 23. 2
8, ... is inserted to configure a temperature sensor. With this configuration, the average value of the liquid temperature is detected by the measuring elements 28, . However, protection tube 2
3 has bent parts at at least two places, so the lead wire 27 at the bent part that connects the measuring element 28 may break, causing problems with reliability as a temperature sensor. Inserting the temperature sensor into the protective tube 23 required time and effort.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings. In FIG. 2, 1 is a tank, and 2 is a floating roof that moves up and down depending on the increase and decrease of the liquid in the tank 1. The floating roof 2 is provided with a drainage device for draining rainwater accumulated on the thermometer. The drainage system includes an inlet drain pipe 4 opened to an inlet 3 on the floating roof 2.
, a lower drain pipe 6 which is installed horizontally at the bottom of the tank and has a drain port 5 opening to the outside of the side wall of the tank 1, and joints 7 and 8 at the upper and lower parts of both drain pipes 4 and 6, respectively.
It is made up of two upper and lower drain pipes 10 and 11 of approximately equal length, which are connected to each other by a joint 9 in the center. By configuring like this,
The upper and lower drain pipes 10 and 11 can be expanded and contracted as the floating roof 2 moves up and down.

A thermometer main body 12 is mounted on the floating roof 2 near the inlet drain pipe 4, and a protective pipe 14 is connected to the thermometer main body 12 via a flexible tube 13 penetrating the floating roof 2. This protection tube 14
has a straight pipe-shaped seal structure, and is held along the upper drain pipe 10 by a clamp fitting 15. The protection pipe 14 extends on the extension line of the drain pipe 10, and has a length such that its end (lower end) does not come into contact with the inner bottom of the tank 1. As shown in FIG. 3, a temperature sensor 18 is inserted into the protection tube 14 and has a plurality of measuring elements 16 connected in series to a lead wire 17 along its entire length. It is electrically connected to the main body 12. Note that as the measuring element 16, a platinum resistor, a thermistor, a thermocouple, or the like is used.

With this configuration, the drain pipes 10 and 11 expand and contract in accordance with the vertical movement of the floating roof due to fluctuations in the liquid level in the tank 1, and the temperature sensor 18 in the protective tube 14 held in the drain pipe 10 Regardless of the increase or decrease in the inside of the tank 1, the temperature at a certain depth inside the tank is always detected by the corresponding measuring elements 16, etc., and the average temperature of the entire inside of the tank can be known.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment. According to this, a thermometer main body 12a is provided on the side wall of the tank near the drain pipe 5, and a protective pipe 14a having a straight pipe-shaped seal structure is connected to the lower drain pipe 11 through a flexible tube 13a to the thermometer main body 12a. The protective tube 14a has a length such that its outer end (upper end) does not come into contact with the floating roof 2. Of course, protection tube 1
Although not shown, a temperature sensor similar to that described above is inserted in 4a. Even with this configuration, the average temperature of the entire tank liquid can be known as in FIG. 1, and furthermore, the operation of the protective tube is not hindered by the accumulation of sludge at the bottom of the tank.

As explained above, in the tank liquid temperature measuring device of the present invention, since the protective tube held in the flexible drain pipe is a straight tube, the temperature sensor inserted into the protective tube responds to the expansion and contraction movement of the drain tube. Therefore, damage to the measuring elements and lead wires that make up the sensor can be eliminated, and the reliability of the sensor can be improved. Further, since the protection tube is a straight tube type, insertion and removal of the temperature sensor can be easily and reliably performed. Furthermore, the device of the present invention has great practical effects, such as being able to be easily installed in an existing tank.
