Conventional technology Conventionally, in order to prevent an electric kettle from running dry, electric kettles were designed to detect the water level in the main container of the pot, and when the water level fell below a standard water level, issue a warning or stop the power supply to the heater. Pottuto is proposed. In this type of electric pot, as a water level detection means for detecting the water level in the container, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application No. 57-166537 detects changes in capacitance depending on the presence or absence of water in the water level indicator tube. Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-179043 discloses a device in which the vertical movement of a light-shielding floater in a water level display tube or the vertical movement of the liquid content is detected by a photo sensor. In Japanese Patent No. 103418, a plurality of sensing electrodes are provided that protrude into the pot body container at predetermined intervals in the depth direction of the pot body container,
Various methods have been proposed in which the water level is detected based on the presence or absence of electrical continuity between the sensing electrode and the ground electrode or container.

Problems that the invention aims to solve However, in devices that detect water levels using capacitance changes or photo sensors, parts must be attached to the glass water level display tube, so care must be taken when handling them. In addition, when the pot body container has multiple electrodes, there is a manufacturing problem in that it is difficult to insulate and seal the electrodes and the pot body container, and if the detection electrode is needle-shaped, it may be difficult to insulate or seal the pot body container. Because the contact area is small, the electrodes are covered by bubbles generated when water is added or bubbles generated during heating, and are electrically isolated from the water, resulting in non-conductivity even when there is sufficient water.

Function In the electrode structure according to the present invention, when there is a sufficient amount of water in the pot main body container, the water pump and the pot main container are electrically connected, and the water level in the water pump is lowered by the heater. When the water level drops below the level of the upper end of the water level, the water pump and the pot body container are electrically insulated, so that both can be used as electrodes for detecting the water level.

In FIG. 1, 1 is a pot body container, 2 is a water lift pipe, the water pipe 2 is made of a conductive material, for example, stainless steel, its lower end terminates at approximately the same level as the band heater 8, and a flexible It communicates with the pot body container 1 through a branch pipe 3, a joint 4, an L-shaped insulating tube 5, and an L-shaped tube 6 fixed to the bottom of the pot body container 1, which are made of material. The upper end of the water pump 2 is connected to a strainer 10 via a safety valve 9. Note that, as shown in FIG. 2, the joint 4 may be omitted and the branch pipe 3 and the insulating tube 5 may be constructed integrally.

When the water pump 2 having the above structure is used as a water level detection electrode for an electric pot, water is poured into the container 1 so that the water level is above the upper end of the band heater 8, and the water is placed between the container 1 and the water pump 2. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, when a pulse voltage of 1 mS is applied from the pulse voltage generator 14 through the resistor R once every 4 seconds, the voltage between the container 1 and the pumping pipe 2 is Since the water in the pumping pipe is electrically conductive, there is almost no potential difference between the two, and the voltage detection means 15 does not detect any voltage.

However, if the water level in the container 1 is lower than the upper end of the band heater 8, there will be no water between the container 1 and the pumping pipe 2, so the two will be insulated and the resistance between them will become infinite. Therefore, the pulse voltage is input as is to the voltage detection means 15,
This makes it possible to detect the water level.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which the pumping pipe 2
consists of a plurality of metal short tubes 2a, 2b, 2c connected to each other by insulating tubes, and the lowest short tube 2
A is arranged so that its lower end is approximately at the same level as the lower limit water level Lmin, which is approximately equal to the upper end of the band heater 8 attached to the lower part of the container 1, and the uppermost short pipe 2c is arranged so that its lower end is at the same level as the lower limit water level Lmin, which is approximately equal to the upper end of the band heater 8 attached to the lower part of the container 1. It is arranged so that it is at the same level as the full water level Lmax, and prevents natural discharge when the water is filled above the full water level. In this case, each short pipe 2a , 2b ,
2c is connected to a water level detection circuit, and by detecting continuity or non-continuity between each short pipe and the container 1, not only the upper and lower limits of the water level in the container 1 but also the intermediate water level can be detected.

Effects of the invention As is clear from the above explanation, according to the invention, the water level detection electrode is composed of a metal main body container and a water pump, both of which are components of an electric pot, so new electrode parts are required. It is unnecessary and can be made into a simple structure,
Moreover, since the electrodes are made of stainless steel or other metal material, they are easy to handle and have improved durability, and the electric pot can be easily assembled, leading to cost reductions. Furthermore, the main body container and water pumping pipe, which function as electrodes, have a significantly larger surface area that can come into contact with water than conventional electrodes that protrude into the main pot container, so they can be brought into reliable contact with the liquid inside. , there is no need for insulation or sealing between the pot and the main container, and since both are connected by an insulating tube, it is possible to ensure a non-contact state when there is no water, thus improving the reliability of operation. An excellent effect can be obtained in that it can improve the
