Abstract

PURPOSE:To greatly improve workability by radially attaching cut-off tools and bevel tools to a head at prescribed intervals and performing a bevel processing succeesing to pipe cutting. CONSTITUTION:A die head has a rotary disk 23 including an even number of tool holders 33 attached thereto which are movable in a radial direction, the tool holders having its extream end symmetrially provided with a combination of 4 sets of cut-off tools 15A and 2 sets of bevel tools 15B. The bevel tool 15B is disposed at a position retracted a prescribed amounts in a radial direction to the cut-off tool 15A so that a bevel processing can be performed succeeding to cutting of a pipe P as an extension of the cutting. The prescribed amount delta is so determined in accordance with a wall thickness of the pipe P that the bevel tool 15B contacts the pipe P after the cutting has completed. Thus, a bevel processing can be performed succeeding to cutting and the tool 15 may be retracted in a radial direction when the bevel processing is not required.

定間隔で放射状に取付けると共に上記開先バイトを突起
りバイトに対して所定量だけ半径方向に後退せしめた位
置に取付け、突切りバイトによるパイプ切断に続いてパ
イプ切断端部に開先バイトによる開先加工を行い得るよ
うにしたことを特徴とするものである。
