れていることが不可欠である。従つて、一般には
パイプの切断端面は切断加工では十分な垂直平面
度(パイプ軸線に対する垂直度)が得られないこ
とが多いので開先加工に先がけて一旦、端面加工
バイトで平面出し加工を行う必要がある。次いで
工具を端面加工バイトから開先加工バイトに変え
てからこの端面の平面出し加工が終つたパイプに
対し開先加工を行うようにしている。しかしなが
らこのような方法では同一のダイヘツドを用いる
にしてもバイトの交換が必要であり作業性が悪
い。
