Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a remedy for athlete's foot having high preservability, by using extracted liquid of TORORO-AOI (Hibiscus manihot) as a principal component, adding salicylic acid, glycerol and lactic acid to the liquid, and mixing the resultant pasty composition with a fatty acid potassium carbonate salt, bentonite, salicylic acid and lanolin. CONSTITUTION:A pasty composition is produced by mixing an extracted liquid of TORORO-AOI with preferably 3-5% salicylic acid, 7-9% glycerol and 3-5% lactic acid. The composition is resistant to putrefaction and viscosity lowering for a long period and is most effective as a base. The objective pasty remedy for athlete's foot can be produced by adding a fatty acid potassium carbonate salt, mixture of bentonite and salicylic acid and lanolin to the pasty composition. It exhibits mild action to the skin without causing irritation to the skin, impregnates deep into the diseased part and completely cures the athlete's foot.

The reward/punishment hollyhock (hereinafter referred to as ``Tororo Aoi'') is an annual plant, and the extract (mucilage) obtained from its roots is called neri and is used for making Japanese paper, and is also used as a medicine. It is well known that if the roots of the Troll mallow are damaged when digging them up or washing them with water to remove muddy soil, the roots themselves and the extract itself will rot very quickly. Moreover, it is a plant root that has the property of emitting a foul odor and must be handled with care, and both the root and the extract lack shelf life.

Another characteristic of the extract is that the rate of viscosity reduction is extremely rapid, and for this reason, there is a strong need for the development of a method for preserving A. japonica root and its extract, and a method for preventing viscosity reduction.

As a result of many years of research, the applicant has succeeded in providing a method for preventing putrefaction of the root mallow root and its extract, and the use of the extract as the main raw material for hair dressings, liniments, and other medicinal ointments. Among these, the present invention aims to provide a paste-like athlete's foot medicine containing an extract of A. japonica as a main ingredient.

以下本発明について詳細に説明する。The present invention will be explained in detail below.

It is also known that if the extract is not used promptly, it is susceptible to spoilage and its activity, which is its vitality, decreases extremely quickly. Although this extract has a high viscosity, under normal conditions it is easily putrefied due to the growth of spoilage bacteria, and the viscosity decreases significantly over time.

In other words, it was found that salicylic acid, glycerin, and lactic acid are effective in preventing the spoilage and viscosity reduction of neri (extract of A. spp. Contains 3% to 5% salicylic acid, 7% to 9% glycerin, and 3% lactic acid.
It has been found that the above measures are most effective when the amount is between 5% and 5%. The amount of salicylic acid and lactic acid is 5%.
It is natural that the above-mentioned materials can be used, and the waste will not rot and its viscosity will not decrease by increasing the amount, but the ingredients are completely different from Neri, which was conventionally used for washi papermaking (salicylic acid, glycerin, lactic acid, etc.). are mixed.), and
In addition, the use of activated carbon almost eliminates the unique odor of A. japonica, increasing its value as a base for pharmaceutical preparations.

Potassium carbonate solution prepared by dissolving potassium carbonate in water is added little by little to this solution to prepare fatty acid potassium carbonate salt, and after mixing this fatty acid potassium carbonate and base, bentonite and potassium carbonate are added to this mixture. Salicylic acid is mixed and stirred with twice the amount of hot water as the two ingredients, and this mixture is mixed with the mixture of base, fat extract, and potassium carbonate, and lanolin is further added and mixed.

Furthermore, since the salicylic acid and lactic acid in the base are acidic, potassium carbonate is used to neutralize them in the heat and make the entire product slightly acidic, so it is increased or decreased depending on the amount of salicylic acid and lactic acid in the base.
