Description

面ビードの切削を行なう方法及び装置の改良に関
するものである。

が考えられた。第1図において、1は電縫管であ
り、2はその内面ビード、3は外面ビードを示す
ものである。4はこの外面ビードを切削する外面
バイトである。5はノツチホルダーであり、該ノ
ツチホルダーにはノツチローラ6及びノツチ下ロ
ーラ7が取付けられている。このノツチローラ6
には第2図に拡大して示すノツチバイト8が第3
図のように、ノツチ押え爪9を介してねじ10に
より取付けられている。11は内面ビードトリー
マーであり、該内面ビードトリーマーには内面ビ
ード上ローラ12、内面ビード下ローラ13及び
内面ビード切削バイト14が取付けられている。

交するノツチ加工15が施されるので上記ノツチ
バイト8により寸断される。符号16はこの寸断

査上凹みとして拡大視され品質的にイメージダ
ウンとなる。

ノツチローラには斜めノツチバイト(切欠バイ
ト)19がねじ20により取付けられている。こ
のノツチバイト19は第6図及び第7図に示すよ
うに、刃先21と取付部22とが一体的に構成さ
れ、この刃先21は、上記ノツチローラ18を前
記第1図で説明したノツチホルダー5に取付けた
ときに、管軸とは傾斜するように形成されてい
る。従つて、このノツチバイト19により内面ビ
ード2にノツチ疵加工を施すことにより、ビード
2にノツチ疵加工を施すことにより、ビード2に
対して傾斜したノツチ加工が得られる。このノツ
チ加工されたビードはノツチバイトに後続する内
面ビード切削バイトで削除するが、ノツチの切込
み方向と内面ビード切削バイトの刃先の方向とが
一致していないため内面ビード切削バイトでの切
削がとぎれる状態を出現しないこととなり、ビー
ド切削バイトにかかる力が急激に変化することが
なくなり切削がスムーズで、ビード切削跡が平滑
に仕上る。尚、上記第4図及び第5図では、4個
のノツチバイト19を取付け得るノツチローラ1
8が例示されている。
