FIG. 1 shows a conventional example of a push-on switch, and FIG. 1 is a bottom view of the switch.
In the figure, 1 is a resin mounting base made by insert molding a metal terminal 7, and the terminal 7 is placed on the bottom of the recess of this mounting base 1.
A metal movable contact diaphragm (not shown) installed in the recess of the mounting base 1 is positioned such that the fixed contact part of the mount 1 is located in the push button (not shown).
The structure is such that conduction is established between the contacts by pushing the button. Mounting contact surfaces 2 to 5 with a printed circuit board (not shown) on the lower surface of the mounting base 1 are slightly raised. Also, when insert molding the metal terminal 7 on the surface 6 on the bottom surface of the mounting base 1, which is slightly lower than the mounting contact surfaces 2 to 5, the support pin hole 8 remaining after the molded pin (not shown) for supporting the metal terminal 7 is formed. ~10

Now, when such a push-on switch is soldered to a printed circuit board using an automatic soldering machine, the liquid flux that rises from the terminal holes etc. of the printed circuit board to the printed circuit board surface passes through the support pin holes 8 to 10 and enters the inside of the switch. There was a case where the computer entered the computer and caused a problem with the switch.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in the case of a push-on switch with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4. In the figure, 11 is a metal terminal 12,1
3 is made of resin by insert molding, and fixed contacts 14 and 15 of terminals 12 and 13 are provided on the bottom surface of the recessed portion of the mount 1.
16 is a metal movable contact diaphragm housed in the recess of the mounting base 11;
The peripheral edge thereof is always in contact with the fixed contact 14 on the peripheral edge side. Reference numeral 17 indicates a push button, and reference numeral 18 indicates an attachment lid, which is configured so that the terminals 12 and 13 are electrically connected through the metal diaphragm 16 by pressing the button 17. Then, support pin holes 19 to 21 for the metal terminals 12 and 13 that are insert-molded in the mounting base 11 are provided.
mounting contact surfaces 22 to 24 that come into contact with a slightly raised printed circuit board (not shown) on the bottom surface of the mounting base 11.
and these support pin holes 19 to 2.
As shown in the figure, hole 1 has a multi-step shape with a large diameter near the hole entrance.

According to the embodiment of the present invention, whereas conventionally there was a risk that flux during automatic soldering could enter through the support pin hole, the support pin hole is provided on the mounting contact surface of the mounting base with the printed circuit board. Since the printed circuit board and the support pin holes are in close contact with each other, the intrusion of flux into the inside of the mounting base is extremely small, and when automatic soldering was actually performed, there was virtually no flux intrusion at all. Furthermore, if the support pin holes are stepped as in the embodiment, they will also serve as a flux reservoir and will be even more effective. It goes without saying that the present invention can also be applied to electrical components other than push-on switches.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to realize an electrical component free from the problem of flux build-up during automatic soldering.
