Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost of torque rod by integrally forming eye sections of specific inner diameter at the opposite end sections of a steel plate then pressure inserting rubber bushes into respective eye section. CONSTITUTION:Eye sections 2 having desired inner diameter are formed at the opposite end sections of a steel plate 1. A restricting jig 6 having an opening of funnel type cross-section is arranged on the small diameter section at the end of the inner diameter section of the eye section 2. Furthermore, a rubber bush 7 is placed at the large diameter section at the outside of said jig 6 then pressure inserted into the inner diameter of the eye section 2 to squeeze the rubber bush 7 while to joint firmly against the inner face of the eye section 2. With such structure, the manufacturing cost of torque rod can be reduced.
