In this method, since the concrete takes a relatively long time to harden and cure, the overall construction period becomes longer, and the formwork work is complicated and highly dangerous. In particular, work on the formwork for the front wall requires work at heights, and the assembly and disassembly of the formwork is time-consuming and dangerous.

For L-shaped, inverted T-shaped, and buttress-type retaining walls that have a front wall and bottom slab, if curing is insufficient, the joints will become weak, causing cracks due to earth pressure and causing cliff collapse. This is an extremely dangerous situation.

This invention was proposed to solve the above-mentioned problems.
To provide a retaining wall block by integrating the front wall part connected to it, dividing it into appropriate widths to form blocks, arranging a plurality of these blocks, and further extending it by pouring concrete on the foundation to form a retaining wall. .

FIG. 1 shows an example of a retaining wall block 1 according to the present invention, which consists of a slightly inclined front wall plate 2 and a joint 3 integrally provided at the base of the front wall plate 2. The thickness and width required for length and strength (e.g. 2m

As shown in the figure, a joint consisting of a protrusion 23 and a vertical groove 24, a vertical groove into which mortar is poured during construction, etc. may be provided on the side surface of the front wall board 2.

The joint 3 becomes a part of the bottom plate 30 after constructing the retaining wall, and the one shown is for an L-shaped retaining wall and is provided in the front wall board 2 in a key shape when viewed from the side. Then, connecting reinforcing bars 31 are made to protrude behind it (to the right in the figure) so that concrete is cast and extended.

Therefore, when constructing a retaining wall, first cut out the construction site and install a foundation 5 of chestnut stone or the like, then erect the required number of retaining wall blocks 1 according to the present invention, and extend them behind the joint 3. The retaining wall is completed by assembling reinforcing steel and pouring concrete for the installation section 4 to form the bottom slab 30 (Fig. 2). Note that this retaining wall block 1 can be manufactured in advance at a factory and brought in according to the construction plan, or it can be molded on-site in a vacant lot on a developed site, so a sufficient curing period can be taken. can. Therefore, the connection between the front wall 20 and the bottom plate 30 (FIG. 1A) is particularly important for strength.
The strength as designed can be maintained. Moreover, since the extension part 4 cast on site is subjected to earth pressure from above and below, there is virtually no problem even if the curing period is short, and the overall construction period can be significantly shortened. In addition, since the width is about 2 to 3 meters even if the length is high, it can be molded horizontally, which has the advantage of simplifying mold making and concrete pouring.

Next, a backfilling layer 6 of gravel, chestnut stone, etc. is provided, and the space between the cut earth part 7 and the retaining wall block 1 is filled with earth and sand 8 to complete the construction (Figure 3). Furthermore, the third

Each of these has been conventionally used as required, but in the case of the present invention, the intermediate reinforced concrete 11 also serves to connect each front wall plate 2... In order to improve the adhesion, reinforcing bars (not shown) may be made to protrude from the upper back side of the front wall plate 2.

As this retaining wall block 1, in addition to an L-shaped one in which the bottom plate 30 is only a heel plate as in the above example, an inverted T-shaped one in which a toe plate is further provided in front of the joint 3 is also used. Fig. 4a shows the retaining wall block 1 that integrates this toe section 32, and Fig. 4b shows the reinforcing bars 33 for pouring concrete on site when constructing the toe section.

In order to increase reinforcement and pressure resistance, a shelf girder or a retaining wall may be integrally provided on the front wall board 2.

Further, in addition to the above-mentioned retaining wall block, the retaining wall block of the present invention may be formed into a key shape, a curved shape, a bent shape, etc. when viewed from above, since it is used at a bent part such as a corner or a corner of a retaining wall.

In this invention, the front wall and part of the bottom slab, which are the main parts of the retaining wall, are made into blocks in advance by integrally dividing them into appropriate widths, and when constructing the retaining wall, these blocks are used as the foundation A continuous retaining wall will be formed by pouring concrete parallel to the joint and extending it behind the joint. Therefore, there is no need to work on formwork at heights as in the past, making it safer and saving time and effort on site work. The joint between the front wall and the bottom slab, which requires the most strength, is preformed, so the curing period can be reduced. Even if it is short, there is no problem in terms of overall strength.
Moreover, the retaining wall block itself can be formed by simple formwork work in a factory or on a vacant lot at the site, using free time such as building foundations, so it is possible to significantly shorten the construction period and reduce costs as a whole.

Furthermore, each retaining wall block is integrally connected at the bottom slab, and is comparable in strength to conventional cast-in-place retaining walls.
