オーバランニングクラツチを介して一方向に回転
駆動されるピニオンと、上記のピニオンの回転出
力をエンジンのリングギヤに伝動するアイドルギ
ヤとを備え、上記のアイドルギヤは軸方向に摺動
自在に軸支されるとともに軸方向に往復駆動され
る構造であつて、上記軸方向の往復動によつてリ
ングギヤに噛合・離脱するように構成されたアイ
ドルギヤ付スタータにおいて、前記のアイドルギ
ヤの端面にフランジ状の押動リングを固着して、
その内側面をピニオンギヤの端面に対向せしめ、
かつ、前記のピニオンの端面に対向離間せしめて
ワツシヤ状部材を取り付け、ピニオンギヤの端面
とワツシヤ状部材とによつて前記の押動リングを
緩やかに挟持して、前記アイドルギヤが軸方向に
摺動する際、前記の押動リングによつてピニオン
ギヤの端面およびワツシヤ状部材の何れか一方を
押動して、該ピニオンギヤをアーマチヤ軸に沿つ
て摺動せしめるように構成したことを特徴とする
