ンダ内部と排気通路との連通時期を変化させるよ
うにした排気時期制御装置であつて、前記排気通
路の上部で前記開口近傍に揺動自在に取り付けら
れ、その揺動端部にシリンダの内面とほぼ同一曲
率の制御面を有し、かつ、該制御面により前記開
口上部を開閉して該開口の上縁の位置を変化させ
る第1制御弁と、該第1制御弁の上方に摺動自在
に設けられ、前記シリンダの内面とほぼ同一曲率
の制御面を有し、かつ、第1制御弁が開口を閉塞
する位置に揺動させられた際に、第1制御弁の制
御面の上縁と前記開口の上縁との間に侵入して両
者間の間隙を閉塞する第2制御弁とを備え、前記
第2制御弁は、前記排気通路の上方にピストンの
摺動方向に対して傾斜して形成されたガイド孔内
に摺動自在に嵌挿され、該ガイド孔は、その内壁
面の延長線が前記シリンダの内壁面と干渉しあわ
ないように形成されていることを特徴とする2サ
イクルエンジンの排気時期制御装置。
