Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an easy-to-assemble thin-type head by fitting to a housing a terminal member in a sheet-like shape having a conductor circuit for jointing electrically a magnetic recording device to a recording/reproducing coil and an erasing coil of a pushbutton-type magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The terminal member 11 is prepared which provides a circuit on a sheet-like or plate-like base 8 with the use of a metallic foil 9 such as Cu. The member 11 is stuck to the rear side of the housing 4 for the pushbutton- type magnetic head, then the terminals of the recording/reproducing coil 5 and the erasing coil 6 are soldered on one end of the metallic foil 9.
