Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the delicate control of the growth of a plant, by exposing the plant continuously or intermittently to an ozone atmopshere, thereby controlling the generation and dissipation of ethylene. CONSTITUTION:A plant, fruit, mushroom, etc. is exposed to an ozone atmosphere by blasting a gas containing several ppm of ozone for 2-3hr, the supply of ozone is interrupted, and the plant, etc. are again exposed to an ozone atmosphere after 6-7 days. Ethylene acting as a plant hormone in the plant can be generated continuously at a rate of 50ppb - several ppm by the intermittent treatment of the plant with the ozone atmosphere. The growing time of the plant can be shortened and the yield and quality can by improved. As an alternative method, the plant is exposed continuously to the ozone atmosphere to effect the decomposition of trace ethylene acting as a growth hormone and an aging hormone with ozone, thereby enabling the maintenance of the freshness and the storage of the plant for a long period.

Ozone is produced by spraying several ppm of ozone on plants such as cucumbers, melons, roses, irago, asparagus, 5 cod peas, bean sprouts, 1 enokidag, shimeji mushrooms, and oyster mushrooms for 2 to 3 hours, depending on the type of plant. Place the plant in the atmosphere. Thereafter, the supply of ozone is stopped, and the plant is placed in an ozone atmosphere intermittently, such as by returning to the ozone atmosphere after 6 to 7 days, thereby actively promoting the growth of the plant. According to the results of experimental research conducted by the present inventor, ozone naturally decomposes and changes into oxygen gas within about 2 hours, but during these 2 hours, ozone strongly stimulates the plant body. It can be determined that the plant body continuously generates 50 ppb to several ppm of ethylene gas as a plant hormone, and the growth of the plant body is subtly adjusted by the length of this intermittent time and ozone concentration. It is possible to adjust the shipping date and time. In addition, the yield increases, and the growth-promoting hormones significantly shorten the growing period and improve quality. In other words, it greatly improves the characteristics and shelf life of fruits and mushrooms, and in the case of enoki mushrooms, it becomes a hard fruiting body, and low-grade mushrooms such as so-called water flakes, which do not keep 11, become samurai. Since the cultivation conditions for the plants are no different from conventional cultivation conditions, this growth adjustment method can be easily adopted, and it is extremely easy to promote the growth of shimeshi by greenhouse cultivation using an ozone generator. It can be achieved. The ozone generator has a built-in timer, and the generated ozone is sent uniformly to various parts of the house through duct piping. This ozone atmosphere also eliminates germs, reducing the amount of pesticides used while promoting growth.

On the other hand, by shortening the time interval in intermittent ozone atmosphere formation, it is possible to create an ozone atmosphere similar to that during lightning strikes, and the growth of plants can be delayed. According to the inventor's observations, this is because trace amounts of ethylene, which is a growth hormone and senescent porcine, decompose and disappear due to the continuous generation of ozone. , can maintain freshness. You can also store root vegetables such as potatoes and onions.

As described above, according to the present invention, if ethylene gas is diluted and sprayed directly on the plant body, there will be no drawbacks such as the amount of ethylene gas being too large and the plants will wither easily, and the amount of plant hormones present in extremely small amounts can be reduced. Furthermore, by finely adjusting the oil density, it is possible to delicately control the growth of the plant without causing any defects or difficulties.
This is because the buffering effect of the plant itself is utilized, without causing the amount of ethylene to become excessive due to insufficient use of the ethylene released by the plant itself. In addition, it is possible to take measures against barnyard grasses that grow in rice fields without using herbicides.

This is done by spraying ozone gas onto the field where the rice has been harvested.
If necessary, use sheets to create an ozone atmosphere to stimulate the seeds of weeds such as barnyard grass to germinate, and use methods that suit the season, such as exposing them to the cold of late autumn to keep them from dying. However, it can produce remarkable effects such as allowing agriculture to be carried out without the risk of residual pesticides.
