修方法である。

あたつては、残存レンガ8或いは炉内付着物が残
存し、後述する圧入・充填を緻密に行う上で支障
となるので、これらを除去して表面を平滑な状態
にしなければならない。第3図に残存レンガ8及
び炉内付着物18を除去する装置を示す。この装
置は炉頂開孔部14から炉内へ懸垂材21によ
り、ビツトを先端に有するロツド17及びこれを
支持するロツド用支持管15を垂下せしめ、鉄皮
保護型冷却板4の取付予定部へ旋回操作ワイヤー
22を操作し、旋回させる。該鉄皮保護型冷却板
4の取付予定部の前面にある残存レンガ8及び付
着物18を、炉外に設置してある駆動装置20に
よりロツド17を介してビツト16を打撃運動及
び回転運動させてこれらを除去し、平滑な鉄皮露
出部を得ることが可能である。しかる後、炉頂開
口部14より鉄皮保護型冷却板を垂下せしめ、所
定のレベルまで降下させた後、鉄皮側へ引寄せ鉄
皮へ取付固定する。
