Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to instantly indicate the temperature of blowing-off air at each blowing-off port by a structure wherein a color-changing member, which changes its color by reacting to ambient temperature, is arranged on the portion, which is exposed to the air flow passing through an open member and at the same time can be recognized visually from a compartment. CONSTITUTION:An open member 2 is made of resin material and equipped with a proper number of passages 12, through each of which air branch flows. The air branch is a proportion of blowing-off air and bent on the midway to an exhaust hole 13. The back surface of liquid crystal film 1 is applied to the bend portion so as to be directly exposed to the stream of the blowing-off air. The temperature range for coloration of the liquid crystal film 1 with color-changing characteristic can be choiced by selecting the composition of the liquid crystal. The liquid crystal film can be applied to all the open members 2, which form several vent outlets open on the instrument panel part at the front part of a compartment or the color-changing liquid crystal film 1 is bonded on the periphery of the opening of each open member.
