伸び、第2の液室に開口する第2の通路とを有す
るピストンロツドと、該ピストンロツド内に配置
されたコントロールロツドと、前記第1の液室内
に配置され、前記コントロールロツドにより作動
される調整バルブであつて第1の通路に連通して
径方向へ伸びる第3および第4の通路を有する調
整バルブと、第1の液室内に位置するピストンロ
ツドの部位に、前記調整バルブを囲んで固定され
たケースであつて第3および第4の通路を第1の
液室に連通させるように形成されたケースと、ピ
ストンロツドの伸長時に第4の通路を経ての第2
の液室から第1の液室へ向く液体の流動を阻止す
るがピストンロツドの縮小時に第4の通路を経て
の第1の液室から第2の液室へ向く液体の流動を
許容する、調整バルブの内側に軸線方向へ移動可
能に配置された逆止め弁であつて第4の通路に対
向する部位に、第4の通路を通る液体により上向
きの力を受ける傾斜面を有する逆止め弁とを含み
、前記調整バルブは、ピストンロツドの伸長時お
よび縮小時に第1の液室と第2の液室相互間を流
動する液体の流量を調整可能である、液圧緩衝器
