の中心孔と前記側孔との間の流路面積を変化させ
て、上部液室と下部液室との間のバイパス流量を
制御して、減衰力を可変制御する減衰力可変装置
と、 前記ピストンロツドの一端に固設され、このピ
ストンロツドの中心孔から連続する開口部を備え
たリテーナと、 このリテーナの開口部に固設され、中心部に通
孔と、この通孔を囲繞するように突設された弁座
とを備えたチエツクシートと、 このチエツクシートの弁座に載置され、作動液
の流通に抵抗を与えるオリフイス及び、作動液を
抵抗なく流通させる流通路とが形成されたチエツ
クプレートとからなる減衰力可変型液圧緩衝器に
おいて、 前記チエツクシートの弁座に載置された前記チ
エツクプレートのオリフイスを、該弁座より内方
に、かつ前記中心部の通孔より外方に位置するよ
うに形成して、前記弁座と通孔との間のランド部
に対向させたことを特徴とする減衰力可変型液圧
